Systems and methods provide for automated, cyclic delivery and evacuation of a treatment or irrigation solution from a tooth root pulp chamber and pulp canals. A manifold has a base member sized and configured to rest on a crown of an instrumented tooth and a top member sized and configured to couple with the base member to define an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The distal end of a needle is passed through an opening between the inlet and outlet chambers and extended distally beyond the base member into a pulp canal. The proximal end of the needle includes an opening in fluid communication with the inlet chamber. A solution is transferred from a fluid supply source to the inlet chamber and through the needle into the pulp chamber and pulp canals. The spent solution is evacuated from the pulp chamber and pulp canals through the outlet chamber.

Sample vials and methods of processing the sample vials are provided. The sample vial comprises a vial container, a sample collection chamber within the vial container, a vial cap configured to be mated with the vial container to enclose the collection chamber, an aliquot chamber, which may be carried by the vial cap or the vial container, and a valve mechanism for selectively sealing and unsealing the aliquot chamber from the collection chamber. The method may comprise flowing an aliquot of the sample from the collection chamber while the sample within the collection chamber is isolated from an environment exterior to the vial, sealing the aliquot chamber from the collection chamber to isolate the aliquot sample from the remaining sample portion, and transferring at least some of the remaining sample portion from the collection chamber to a microscope slide while the aliquot chamber is sealed from the collection chamber. The method further comprises reserving the slide for cytological screening of the sample, and reserving the aliquot sample for deoxynucleic acid (DNA) testing.

An air conditioner unit and methods of operating the same is provided. The air conditioner unit may include a refrigeration loop having a variable speed compressor, an electronic expansion valve, an indoor heat exchanger, and an outdoor heat exchanger. An indoor fan and an outdoor fan may be configured to urge air through the indoor and outdoor heat exchangers, respectively. A bulkhead may be disposed between the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger to define an indoor portion and an outdoor portion of the unit. A vent aperture may be defined in the bulkhead, and the indoor and outdoor fans may be configured to urge make-up air from the outdoor portion through the vent aperture to the indoor portion. In addition, an auxiliary fan may be disposed within the vent aperture to provide additional “boost” make-up air, and a heating bank may be used to heat make-up air if desired.

An apparatus operable is a hazardous area for controlling a choke assembly includes an air source, an air purge system in fluid communication with the air source, a remote operating panel receiving data from at least one remotely located wellbore sensor, a local operating panel in electronic communication with the remote operating panel, and an actuator coupled to the assembly to control pressure within the wellbore. The remote operating panel includes an airtight housing in fluid communication with the air purge system, wherein air from the air purge system is circulated through the housing, a plurality of operator controls for manually controlling operation of the pressure control assembly, and a display for visually displaying values of data received from the wellbore sensor. The local operating panel includes an airtight panel housing in fluid communication with the air purge system, wherein air from the air purge system is circulated through the panel housing, and a local operator controller having an operator interface for receiving operator instruction input into the local panel, and operable to receive operator instructions from the remote panel and transmit operator instructions. The actuator includes a motor in an explosion-proof housing coupled to the choke plate and operable to adjust the orifice through the choke plate, wherein the motor receives electronic communication of the operator instructions transmitted by the local operator controller, and a position indicator coupled to the choke plate for sensing the orifice opening and providing feedback of the choke plate position to the motor.

A housing has provisions for aligning and urging a circuit carrier to sealingly position a pressure sensor adjacent an opening in a wall extending through of housing. A braking device for a vehicle is provided which includes a power fail-safe mechanism which works to create frictional braking force at a wheel of the vehicle in the event of loss of electric power. The braking device is equipped with an electromagnetic valve which is of a normally closed type. In the event of loss of electric power in the braking system, the electromagnetic valve is closed to block fluid communication between a hydraulic booster and a brake fluid reservoir, so that a stroke chamber in the hydraulic booster is hermetically closed. This enables the pressure in a master cylinder to rise in response to depression of a brake pedal to develop the frictional braking force.

A circulation control valve. A method of controlling circulation flow between an interior flow passage of a tubular string and an annulus external to the tubular string in a subterranean well includes the steps of: interconnecting a valve in the tubular string, the valve including at least one opening for providing fluid communication between the interior flow passage and the annulus; applying an increased pressure to the interior flow passage while fluid communication through the opening between the interior flow passage and the annulus is prevented, thereby permitting fluid communication through the opening between the interior flow passage and the annulus; and then applying another increased pressure to the interior flow passage while fluid communication through the opening between the interior flow passage and the annulus is permitted, thereby preventing fluid communication through the opening between the interior flow passage and the annulus.

A valve comprises a housing including a first chamber, a second chamber, and a neutral chamber. In addition, the valve comprises a stem disposed within the housing. Further, the valve comprises a first valve member at least partially disposed in the first chamber and connected to the stem and a second valve member at least partially disposed in the second chamber and connected to the stem. The first valve member has a closed position seated in a first annular valve seat and an open position spaced apart from the first valve seat. The second valve member has a closed position seated in a second annular valve seat and an open position spaced apart from the second valve seat. An improved gas lift system is provided. In certain embodiments, the gas lift system includes a first tubing string and a second tubing string disposed within the first tubing string. The second tubing string is movable between a first position and a second position. Inflow of production fluids through an aperture in the first tubing string is selectively blocked when the second tubing string is in the second position. A port in the second tubing string delivers lift gas to the annulus between the first tubing string and the second tubing string. In the first position, the port is blocked to prevent fluid communication between the second tubing string and the first tubing string. In the second position, the port is uncovered to permit fluid communication between the second tubing string and the first tubing string, while a sealing member provides a seal that isolates the fluid communication from a well formation.

The invention refers to a pneumatic tire pressurizing device for automatically pressurizing a load-bearing tire during rotation thereof over a surface, said tire comprising a tire volume comprising compressed air having a predetermined tire pressure. The pressurizing device comprises a compression unit connected to a movable device. The pressurizing device is connectable to a wheel comprising the tire, and when connected to the wheel the compression unit is arranged to compress air in the compression chamber when the movable device, starting from a negative position, is affected by a sudden increase of the tire pressure due to deformation of the tire when passing an irregularity in the surface, wherein said compression unit is arranged to feed the compressed air in the compression chamber to the tire volume via the pressure chamber.

A sensor faucet includes: a housing; a water output unit, a water input unit, an electromagnetic valve and a controller disposed in the housing; and first and second sensors mounted to the housing. The electromagnetic valve is coupled between the water input and output units for controlling fluid communication therebetween. Each of the first and second sensors senses an object in proximity thereto, and generates a respective one of first and second sensing signals. The controller controls, based on the first sensing signal, an indication of a state indicator between active and inactive states, and controls, based on the state indicator and the first and second sensing signals, activation and deactivation of the electromagnetic valve.

A cage valve, flow trim components, and method for signalling erosion of flow trim. The valve is of the type having flow trim arranged across an inlet bore and aligned with an outlet bore, and including a stationary tubular cage and an internal or external flow control member such as a plug or flow collar slidable along the side wall of the cage to cover or uncover flow ports in the side wall. The flow control member includes an end plate which closes an upstream end of the cage. A cavity is formed in the flow control member upstream of the end plate. A transmitter, such as a proximity beacon, positioned in the cavity transmits a first signal indicative of intact flow trim when no fluid is in the beacon cavity and transmits a zero value signal or no signal indicative of eroded flow trim when fluid enters the cavity.

A valve provides automatic switchover from a plurality of fluid pressure sources to a common outlet. The valve includes first and second spools respectively in first and second spool chambers, and each spool includes at least one sealing member carried thereon for selective sealing engagement with said first and second spool chambers. Fluid passageways transfer spool controlled fluid pressures between the first and second spool chambers. Each of said first and second spools are resiliently biased towards an open position, and fluid-biased towards a closed position. In an open position, the first and second spools are adapted to deliver pressurized fluid from an associated inlet port to an end chamber of the opposite spool chamber. In a closed position, the first and second spools are adapted via the at least one sealing member to inhibit delivery of pressurized fluid. A manifold assembly provides fluid communication to the common outlet.

An outlet valve includes an outlet valve housing with an outlet valve bore including an outlet valve seating surface. The outlet valve also includes an outlet valve member which moves within the outlet valve bore second portion between a closed position and an open position. A surface of the outlet valve bore guides the outlet valve member during movement between the closed position and the open position. The surface of the outlet valve bore and the outlet valve seating surface are provided on a continuous piece of material of the outlet valve housing. An outlet valve spring biases the outlet valve member toward the closed position and a retainer is fixed to the outlet valve housing which grounds the outlet valve spring to the outlet valve housing.

An aspiration system comprises an aspiration catheter, an aspiration source fluidly coupled to the aspiration catheter to create an aspiration flow path between the aspiration catheter and the aspiration source, a pressurized fluid source, and a passive pressure oscillation assembly fluidly coupled between the pressurized fluid source and the aspiration flow path. The passive pressure oscillation assembly is configured for being operated between a normal mode that prevents fluid communication between the pressurized fluid source and the aspiration flow path, and an oscillatory mode that pulses fluid communication between the pressurized fluid source and the aspiration flow path. The passive pressure oscillation assembly is configured for being triggered to switch from the normal mode to the oscillatory mode in response to a clog in the aspiration catheter.

A sanitary connector apparatus includes first and second tubular members coaxially aligned such that a first member end of the first tubular member is positioned toward a second member end of the second tubular member. First and second sealing components radially extend from the first and second member ends, respectively. An annular groove is formed into the first end face of the first sealing component and a corresponding resilient rib is integrally formed with the second end face of the second sealing component. A clamp band, secured around the outer perimeter of the first and second sealing components, has two extension members that apply compressive force to the sealing components in a direction coaxial to the tubular members. The compressive force applied is sufficient to compress the resilient rib into the corresponding groove and position the first end face against the second end face.

An apparatus for mixing and distributing sauce is disclosed. The apparatus may include a mixing-pump device coupled a linear arm for distributing sauce over a rotating turntable. The turntable may include an improved gripping device for coupling to a pan. The apparatus may also include a self-expelling concentrated sauce vat which couples to the mixing-pump device. Apneumatic driven wrench comprises: a housing defining a middle channel; a cylinder defining two fluid passages; a rotor; a first valve; a second valve driven by a valve-switching member for controlling fluid communication between the middle channel and a selected one of the fluid passages; a valve-triggering unit for driving the first valve; and a locking member driven by the valve-triggering unit to move between releasing and locking positions. The locking member engages one of the valve-switching member and the second valve when at the locking position. A valve assembly for a tire pressure management system includes a housing having a first perforation and a second perforation. The first perforation is selectively in fluid communication with the second perforation. A shuttle assembly is provided in the housing. A failsafe piston is connected to the shuttle assembly. A first biasing member applies a bias to the failsafe piston. A second biasing member applies a bias to the shuttle assembly. When a pressure differential between a pressure in the second perforation and a pressure in the first perforation is at or below a predetermined value, the bias applied by the first biasing member urges the failsafe piston toward the shuttle assembly to prevent fluid communication between the first perforation and the second perforation.

A fuel pump includes a fuel pump housing made of stainless steel and having a pumping chamber therewithin, a plunger bore extending thereinto, an inlet passage extending thereinto, and an outlet passage extending thereinto. A pumping plunger reciprocates within the plunger bore such that an intake stroke of the pumping plunger increases volume of the pumping chamber and a compression stroke of the pumping plunger decreases volume of the pumping chamber. The outlet valve includes an outlet valve seating surface formed by the fuel pump housing within the outlet passage such that a nitrided layer extends from the outlet valve seating surface into the fuel pump housing. A pneumatic impact tool includes a housing, an accumulation chamber, and a piston. The housing defines a longitudinal passageway with a rear end and a front end and a passageway gas port. The accumulation chamber has a accumulation chamber gas port connectable to a gas supply and a inner gas port in fluid communication with the longitudinal passageway. The piston is inserted in the longitudinal passageway and slides between a rest position wherein the piston is juxtaposed to the rear end of the longitudinal passageway and an impact position wherein the piston is juxtaposed to the front end of the longitudinal passageway. The piston moves from the rest position to the impact position when gas is inserted in the longitudinal passageway through the passageway gas port and is propelled therebetween by pressurized gas contained in the accumulation chamber.
