A high-precision real-time
Braille-Chinese translation method comprises the following steps: acquiring a
Braille image by using a camera configured with a specific lateral parallel
light source, and preprocessing the
Braille image to obtain a first image; inputting the first image into the model, obtaining bounding box information of all detected Braille salient points, and extracting Braille coordinates and sizes; fitting the overall trend of the
braille line by using all detected
blind spot coordinates and adopting least square
linear regression, calculating to obtain an inclination angle, generating a
rotation matrix through the inclination angle, and performing affine transformation on all
blind spot coordinates to obtain a corrected second image; performing structure segmentation on the second image to obtain a blind character
point set; and converting the content of the blind character
point set into Chinese content based on a conversion rule of Braille and
Chinese characters. According to the method, a complete
algorithm link from image original
blind spot detection to
structured analysis to final Chinese text translation is constructed. And automatic
braille recognition and translation with high precision and high robustness are realized.
