An intramedullary nail system for real-time monitoring of bone lengthening healing status

PendingCN122272138AMobile appsBone Lengthening
This invention discloses an intramedullary nail system for real-time monitoring of bone lengthening and healing status, comprising an extendable intramedullary nail body, a signal processing module, a sensing module, and a mobile APP module. The intramedullary nail body includes a hollow proximal main nail and a distal traction nail, which are coaxially sleeved with a clearance fit. The intramedullary nail body contains a power module and a transmission module for driving the distal traction nail to extend and retract axially. The sensing module includes an axial pressure sensor and a callus multimodal sensor. The axial pressure sensor is arranged on the load transmission path inside the proximal main nail to monitor axial tensile load and weight-bearing. The callus multimodal sensor is attached to the outer surface of the proximal main nail at the fracture site to acquire external normal pressure and shear force. The signal processing module is connected to the sensing module to collect and process the signals transmitted by the sensing module and transmit them wirelessly to the APP module. The APP module is used to decouple and visualize the received signals.

Flat plate mechanisms for bone lengthening

PendingUS20260183026A1AnatomyBone Lengthening
Provided herein is an adjustable implant configured to non-invasively guide bone growth in a patient. The adjustable implant includes a first portion configured to couple to a first bone segment and a second portion at least partially disposed within the first portion and configured to couple to a second bone segment. The adjustable implant includes a drive assembly configured to be transcutaneously actuated, and to drive rotation of a gear assembly configured to rotate about a first axis, and drive axial translation of the second portion along a second axis. Non-invasive actuation of the drive assembly therefore causes the adjustable implant to distract or retract along the second axis.

Wirelessly operable implant system for providing controlled lengthening of a bone

PendingUS20260053536A1Internal osteosythesisMedical equipmentWireless controlBone Lengthening
The present invention discloses a wirelessly operable implant system for providing controlled lengthening of a bone. The wirelessly operable implant system (100) comprises a bone lengthening intramedullary nail (110), an extracorporeal wireless controller (130), and an implantable drive unit (120). The bone lengthening intramedullary nail (110) fixes in intramedullary cavity (16) and its extending elements (111) and (112) fix with different bone segments (14) and (15). The bone lengthening intramedullary nail (110) distracts the bone segments (14) and (15) when provided with input rotational motion to the unit (113) fitted within. This input rotational motion is given with physical connection by extramedullary implant (120) which is intracorporal and extramedullary. The extramedullary implant (120) is operated by an extracorporeal wireless controller (130).

High-stability bone extension bridging combined internal fixation device

ActiveCN223860915UInternal osteosythesisFastenersOsteoporotic boneBone tissue
The utility model provides a high-stability bone extension bridging combined internal fixing device, and belongs to the technical field of bone extension. Comprising a first bone block and a second bone block, the plurality of fixing blocks are respectively arranged on the first bone block and the second bone block; the plurality of guide rods are arranged on the fixed block and are symmetrically arranged at the two ends of the fixed block; the fixing screw is arranged on the fixing block and is used for fixing the fixing block and a bone block; the fixing screw is provided with a screw body and a nut. By arranging the fixing screw, the fine threads at the bottom are beneficial to entering relatively loose sclerotin initially, the contact area and anchoring force with bone tissue can be increased along with the gradual thickening of the threads, and compared with a traditional single-thread screw, the fixing stability in an osteoporotic bone block can be effectively improved; and the loosening risk caused by insufficient friction force is reduced.

Bone lengthening device and method of use thereof

The present invention relates to an implantable bone distraction device. The implantable bone distraction device includes an inner rod defining an internal cavity that houses a rotation actuator. The rotation actuator has an output shaft that is disposed at the end of the inner rod and connected to a lead screw that threadably engages a threaded inner surface of the outer rod. Rotating the lead screw converts the rotational motion into linear motion, resulting in telescoping motion of the outer rod relative to the inner rod. The rotational motion is converted into linear motion by components arranged in a parallel configuration, thereby minimizing the overall length of the bone distraction device while maintaining a maximum stroke length. In various embodiments, additional components, such as an electronic circuit board, an electrical or battery power source, may be housed within the internal cavity defined by the inner rod.
