The invention discloses a target
visibility determination method, apparatus and device, and a
computer program product. The method comprises the steps of obtaining three-dimensional
point cloud data and three-dimensional bounding box data including a target object, two-dimensional image data of at least one camera associated with the three-dimensional
point cloud data, camera calibration parameters and a parameter configuration file; constructing a two-dimensional
depth map corresponding to the two-dimensional image data according to the three-dimensional
point cloud data, the two-dimensional image data and camera calibration parameters; generating a three-dimensional surface sampling
point set of the target object according to the three-dimensional bounding box data of the target object; and according to the two-dimensional
depth map, the three-dimensional surface sampling
point set, the camera calibration parameters and the parameter configuration file, determining the
visibility of the target object relative to the camera by using a
visibility analysis strategy based on spherical projection so as to determine the visibility of the target object relative to the automatic driving
system. According to the method, the visibility of the target is quantitatively analyzed by using a visibility analysis strategy based on spherical projection, and the robustness and accuracy of
occlusion judgment are improved.
