The defrosting method of the multi-split air conditioning system and the multi-split air conditioning system use alternation between high-speed flowing and low-speed flowing of the refrigerant for fully melting frost on the outdoor heat exchanger to prevent generation of heat exchange dead angles, so that the defrosting is faster and more thorough.
