A checklist is a type of job aid used to reduce failure by compensating for potential limits of human memory and attention. It helps to ensure consistency and completeness in carrying out a task. A basic example is the "to do list". A more advanced checklist would be a schedule, which lays out tasks to be done according to time of day or other factors. A primary task in checklist is documentation of the task and auditing against the documentation.

Skills matching application

A tool, called the Skills Matching Application (SMA), allows a user, such as a hiring manager, to communicate requirements to technical service suppliers in a way that significantly reduces the process time and improves the accuracy of requests sent to suppliers. The SMA is accessed from a Web-based Requisition / Catalog (REQ / CAT) Web application. A user who needs to request a technical contractor accesses the REQ / CAT Web application which brings the user to the SMA Web site. The SMA application, after requiring a password and profile (for first time access) to be entered, takes the user through a series of screens which prompts the user to enter a Statement of Work (SOW) and complete a skills detail checklist for each of the technical skills requested. Once the request is completed, it is submitted to contracted suppliers who are sent an e-mail notification notifying the supplier that a new request has been entered into the SMA application for them to review and submit a candidate against. This e-mail has a standard formatted attachment which contains the statement of work and skills detail checklist. The suppliers, when they receive an e-mail request, access the Web site database to view the request details. A supplier provides a candidate or candidates by accessing the SMA Web site and submitting candidates and appending resumes as appropriate. The supplier provides a response to the SOW by responding to the entries with the candidate's skills, experience, etc. The requestor views the supplier responses and associated resumes and can either accept or reject each candidate submitted but cannot accept more than the number of candidates requested.

The present invention relates to method for assisting a user in generating an itemised medical report from at least one medical image. The at least one medical image is displayed in a display area of single computer display unit. In the same display area, a sub-region containing a checklist specific to the one or more images is displayed. Items from the checklist can be de-selected. This checklist comprises a list of selectable items, each item representing an organ, structure, or abnormality that has to be checked by the user. Linked to each item in the checklist is a default statement that is a pre-prepared statement indicative of the normality of the item. The default statement is not displayed by default as part of the checklist. The user can select an item from the checklist for providing comments by dictation thereon responsive to an observation in the radiological image. At the end of the image analysis, an editable itemised medical report is generated containing each item of the checklist as a heading and either the dictated comment or the default statement associated with the item as an observation. The editable itemised medical report is rapidly and accurately generated, information is confined to a single screen reducing the look-away time and general discomfort over time for the user.

Disclosed herein are methods and systems for a credit grantor to manage a credit of a credit requestor. The method may include steps of, upon the occurrence of an event: assigning a Credit Classification to the credit requestor, the Credit Classification being related to the credit risk of the credit requestor and determining the Type of Review to carry out for the credit requestor based upon a nature of the event. A checklists of data items required to be collected may then be selected or assembled, the data items of the checklist being determined at least by a combination of the assigned Credit Classification and the determined Type of Review. A case folder for the requestor may then be created or updated, the case folder including the selected checklist of data items to be collected. A value for each required data item of the selected checklist may then be collected and stored in the case folder. The collected data items in the case folder may then be analyzed according to a score sheet and a workflow, the score sheet being determined at least by the combination of the assigned Credit Classification and determined Type of Review. A credit score for the credit requestor may the be calculated, and a recommended action generated (and optionally implemented) based upon the calculated credit score.
