The invention relates to an
oral cavity examination ruler for edentulous jaw, in particular to an inspection ruler for measuring mandibular lingual posterior fossa, sublingual spongy tissue, lingual receding and
dental arch width. The inspection ruler is composed of a mandibular lingual fossa measuring end, a sublingual
sponge-like tissue measuring end, a caliper and a
handle part, the mandibularlingual fossa measuring end is assembled and disassembled at one end of the
handle part, and the mandibular lingual fossa measuring ends with different diameters can be assembled and disassembled according to needs. The lower jaw lingual bone posterior fossa measuring end rod part is made of resin, and deforms when the probing strength is larger than 100 g. The sublingual
sponge-like tissue measuring head is a small
metal ball with the
diameter of 7 mm, and a transverse line is arranged in the middle of the sublingual
sponge-like tissue measuring head to provide a measuring tool for sublingualsponge-like tissue. A measuring jaw of the caliper can perform 60-degree hinge motion, and a distance between the
tail end of the measuring jaw and the sublingual sponge-like tissue measuring head isindicated on a dial by a pointer, namely the width of the
dental arch. The scales are marked on the measuring jaw through black and white grids, each grid represents 1cm, and the retreating amount ofthe tongue can be indicated. The ruler integrates multiple measurement functions, and is convenient for clinicians to use.
