The invention relates to a method for detecting total mercury in an energy saving lamp, comprising the following steps of: preparing a digestion solution containing BrCl and nitric acid; adding the digestion solution into a plastic bottle, uniformly mixing, and putting a plurality of ceramic or glass beads with a certain diameter into the bottle; putting an energy saving lamp, the lamp holder and electronic components of which are removed, into the plastic bottle filled with the digestion solution, and tightening the bottle cap up; shaking the plastic bottle and breaking the lamp; allowing the mercury to be completely absorbed; detecting the mercury content after constant volume, and converting into the total amount of mercury in the lamp. The method is to break and digest the whole lamp in the sealed plastic bottle so as to prevent the leakage of mercury steam, and simultaneously is suitable for amalgam lamps and liquid mercury lamps. In addition, the analysis flow is simplified, and the digestion solution volume, and the sample volume and the constant volume are accurately controlled during the experimental process. Therefore, the concentration value of mercury in the solution measured by the device equals to the content of the total mercury in the lamp, and a tedious calculation step is avoided.

The invention discloses a device and method of measuring mercury content in smoke. The device comprises a smoke sampling pretreatment module, an Ar gas storage bottle, a mercury enrichment module, anelectromagnetic induction heating module and a mercury content detection module, wherein the mercury enrichment module comprises a quartz outer tube and metallic iron inner tubes, a gold wire cake isarranged between every two adjacent metallic iron inner tubes, and a gold wire ball column is arranged in each metallic iron inner tube; and the metallic iron inner tubes, the gold wire cakes and thegold wire ball columns form an enrichment region. According to the method, treated mercury-contained smoke is introduced into the enrichment region, and mercury in the smoke is made to form gold-amalgam; then the enrichment region is made to generate an eddy current through electromagnetic induction heating, and the mercury is subjected to pyrolysis; and then argon is used for loading mercury steam obtained after pyrolysis into the mercury concentration detection module for measurement. The method has the advantages that enrichment is efficient, pyrolysis is fast, and meanwhile the occurrencestate of the mercury in the smoke in the mercury enrichment module is considered; and the problems that in current mercury enrichment module application, enrichment efficiency is low, pyrolysis speedis low, and consistency is poor are solved.
