The present invention provides a body lift-assist walker device for gait training is provided by the invention. The patient wears a pressurized body suit over all or a portion of his lower body, and the suit is attached to the walker device. A positive pressure or vacuum condition is applied to the interior of the suit, so that the differential pressure condition across the suit offloads a portion of the patient's body weight to the ground through the supportive walker device to make it easier for him to walk or run. The walker device also includes a lift-assisted body weight support device operated by a constant force mechanism like a pneumatic air cylinder that can lift the patient from a sitting position to a standing position with minimal physical effort. The device provides a portable and convenient system for persons undergoing physical therapy for treatment of gait or balance problems following an injury, stroke, or neurological disorder, or for use by elderly or disabled persons who have encounter difficulties in the sit-to-stand movement or walking.

The compression also would be helpful and needed after certain surgeries to prevent complication and reach the ultimate goal. This invention introduces a models combination of support units with straps, that can be used in various parts of the body. The new version allows the user to wrap a leg or arm easily and more securely. The use of more than one support is again stressed, different ways of use of these units are also discussed. Also new is the use of stretchable hoses for allowing the straps to be held in place more securely. So that these better unit can make the patient care a bit easier and help humanity.

The invention discloses a lifting support device and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. The lifting support device is capable of supporting and lifting a carrier and comprises a base, an upper support and a spring assist; one end of the upper support is rotatably connected with the base, and the other end thereof can support the carrier; the spring assist comprises at least two springs disposed in a same direction; one end of every spring is abutted to the base, and the other end thereof is abutted to the upper support; acting torque that the springs apply to the upper support to balance gravitational torque that the upper support bears. By providing the spring assist with the multiple springs, the acting torque of the springs is used to balance the gravitational torque; since the springs are generally good in stability and rarely fail during long-term using, force values of the springs rarely attenuate, the lifting support device is more reliable, and maintenance cost is lower; owing to the multiple springs, great supporting force can be provided in small space, and applicable range of the lifting support device is widened.

No. 6,918,744, July 2005, for Hydraulic Turbine and Exit Stay Apparatus therefor) in eliminating the axial central vortex and, therefore, in increasing the efficiency and decreasing the flow pressure pulsations in draft tube cone at off optimum operating regimes. The new Exit Stay Apparatus has an intermediate flange between exit stay crown and periphery and two sets of exit stay vanes: crown exit stay vanes secured to the exit stay crown and the intermediate flange and peripheral exit stay vanes secured to the intermediate flange and following to the periphery. When installed in the turbine the peripheral exit stay vanes are secured at the periphery. There are more crown exit stay vanes than the peripheral exit stay vanes and their profiles are longer than the profiles of the peripheral exit stay vanes. The Exit Stay Apparatus with Intermediate Flange is expected to have the same peak efficiency as known Exit Stay Apparatus.

A support for a trapeze or other structure (such as a sling) that depends from a rail, said rail extending over a bed (usually a hospital bed) or other patient-support device. A carriage (which might also be called a trolley) is provided for selective movement—in small increments—along a conventional rail (having an octagonal or circular cross section) from one end to the other. Alternatively, the carriage is held static, where it provides a stable “anchor” for a trapeze, so that a person might safely pull downward on the trapeze. In one embodiment the static condition is initiated by the action of simply pulling downward on the trapeze, causing the carriage to bear against the rail with what may best be described as a “gripping” action. Switching between free movement along the rail and braked movement can be automatic, involving only a downwardly directed force on the carriage, which force may be supplied by an attending nurse or the patient.
