Heavy duty toggle bolt fastener for accommodating long screws and having properly positioned toggle nut component

A toggle-bolt type fastener has pocket structure incorporated therein for accommodating extra-long threaded bolt fasteners in a coaxial manner within the toggle-bolt type fastener. Alternatively, structure has been incorporated within the toggle-bolt type fastener which accommodates extra-long threaded bolt fasteners by causing the same to be slightly deflected from their coaxial disposition within the toggle-bolt type fastener so as to permit the same to bypass the pointed tip of the toggle-bolt type fastener. Still further, additional structure has been incorporated within the toggle-bolt type fastener for ensuring the fact that when the nut member is moved from its original, axially oriented, inoperative or non-deployed position, to its second, transversely oriented, operative or deployed position, the nut member will in fact be disposed substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the toggle-bolt type fastener so as to ensure the proper threaded engagement thereby by the threaded bolt fastener.

High precision modeling method of involute helical gear

A method for modeling an involute helical gear accurately comprises the following steps: first step: setting related parameters; second step: establishing an involute and a transition curve by a curve equation, setting a toothspace center line and drawing a dimensional tooth profile; third step: inputting a spiral line equation and establishing a spiral line; fourth step: generating a toothspace by mixed scanning and an array, and cutting a gear blank by Boolean operation to form a gear model; and fifth step: applying a gear model to practical gear machining or simulation analysis. According to the method, a formula suitable for three-dimensional software is deduced based on the basic principle of the involute helical gear and the engagement of a rack and a gear, the original fussy programming computation is saved; besides, the formation of the entity can be highly fitted to provide technical support for the subsequent manufacture and analysis of the helical gear; and the method is not only suitable for a standard profile gear but also a non-standard gear profile, and has remarkable scientific research value and economic efficiency.

Button head tie

A button head tie has a button head and a tie strap. The button head is a generally flat member having an aperture for receiving the tie strap. The aperture includes lead-in ramps to facilitate tie strap insertion and is configured to prevent angled tie strap insertion. The tie strap is a flat elongate member having a wedge that is captured within the aperture. The remainder of the strap passes through the aperture. The wedge and strap have teeth and serrations on both sides, respectively, the teeth and serrations being engageable. In use, the strap is looped around a bundle and inserted into the aperture to either side of the wedge. Strap insertion force is reduced by standoff tabs which elevate the wedge out of aperture, temporarily, during installation. When loop tension is applied to the bundle, the wedge is pulled into the aperture, compressively locking the strap.
