The invention discloses a noise reduction method for a vehicle, and the method comprises the following steps: S1, respectively measuring a loudspeaker of each sound reproduction channel of a vehicle-mounted audio system, and obtaining the maximum non-distortion output amplitude of a signal corresponding to each frequency point in a frequency domain; S2, generating a reference signal, and filteringthe reference signal through an adaptive filter to generate a control signal; S3, comparing the control signal with the maximum output amplitude, if the control signal is not greater than the maximumvalue of the maximum output amplitude, directly converting the control signal into an analog signal, and feeding the analog signal to loudspeakers of corresponding sound reproduction channels througha power amplifier; and if the control signal is greater than the maximum value of the maximum output amplitude, performing power compression on the control signal, converting the control signal subjected to power compression into an analog signal, and feeding the analog signal to the loudspeakers of corresponding sound reproduction channels through the power amplifier. The possibility of the divergence of an active noise control system can be solved, and abnormal sound is prevented from being generated as soon as possible.
