30 results about "Screen tearing" patented technology

Screen tearing is a visual artifact in video display where a display device shows information from multiple frames in a single screen draw. The artifact occurs when the video feed to the device is not in sync with the display's refresh rate. That can be caused by non-matching refresh rates, and the tear line then moves as the phase difference changes (with speed proportional to difference of frame rates). It can also occur simply from lack of sync between two equal frame rates, and the tear line is then at a fixed location that corresponds to the phase difference. During video motion, screen tearing creates a torn look as edges of objects (such as a wall or a tree) fail to line up.

Virtual and real camera picture synchronization method and device and storage medium

The invention provides a virtual and real camera picture synchronization method and device and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of computers, and the method comprises the steps: enabling the motion data of an LED picture, a real camera and a synthesis end virtual camera to access time codes, comparing the three time codes which are received at the same time, and selecting the slowest time code as a reference. The motion data, the real camera picture data and the virtual camera picture data are synthesized in a frame synchronization mode, then values are taken from the cache pools to be synthesized, the slowest time code is selected as a reference to generate the lowest delay, namely, the interval time of performance and final picture seeing, and the time codes as indexes are in one-to-one correspondence with the corresponding data, so that the motion data, the real camera picture data and the virtual camera picture data are synthesized in a frame synchronization mode. Therefore, the problem of picture tearing during real-time synthesis of the virtual camera picture and the real camera picture in the virtual film production is solved, and the real-time performance, the integrity and the picture uniformity of the virtual film production are further improved.
