A specimen collection system and method for adapting a cryostat

The application discloses a slice collecting system and a slice collecting method suitable for a freezing microtome. The slice collecting system comprises a slice pressing module. The slice pressing module cooperates with a blade of the freezing microtome to cut a frozen sample, so as to form a frozen tissue slice between the slice pressing module and the blade. The slice collecting system further comprises a releasing roller, a winding roller and an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is movably arranged around the releasing roller, the slice pressing module and the winding roller. The adhesive tape arranged around the slice pressing module is located between the slice pressing module and the blade. An included angle between the adhesive tape released by the releasing roller and the adhesive tape wound by the winding roller is θ2, and θ2 is greater than or equal to 45 degrees. The included angle θ2 greater than or equal to 45 degrees can realize good adhesion between the adhesive tape around the slice pressing module and the frozen tissue slice, avoid the adhesive tape from being pulled due to too large turning angle during the slice collecting, and finally realize automatic collection of the slice through winding of the winding roller. The success rate and quality of the slice collecting are higher.
