In an electronic article surveillance system, quadrature transmitting and receiving antennas are used to improve field distribution. A transmitting antenna arrangement includes first and second adjacent co-planar antenna loops and excitation circuitry for generating respective alternating currents in the first and second loops such that the respective alternating currents are 90 DEG out of phase. In a receiving arrangement, respective signals received from two adjacent co-planar antenna loops are respectively phase-shifted by +45 DEG and -45 DEG , and the resulting phase-shifted signals are summed. A far-field cancelling transmitting antenna arrangement includes four loops operated at phases of 0 DEG , 90 DEG , 180 DEG and 270 DEG respectively. All four loops may be co-planar, with any bucking vertical segments being horizontally displaced from each other. Alternatively, the 0 DEG and 180 DEG loops may also be arranged in a common plane that is close to and parallel with another plane in which the 90 DEG and 270 DEG loops are arranged.

The present invention describes a method comprising of a services business language (SBL) providing a common interface for communication with one or more multiple providers in one or more vertical segments. An adjustable carrying pouch adapted to carry devices of varying sizes. A substantially rectangular pliable horizontal segment is integral with a vertical pliable segment. The horizontal segment includes a pair of retention flaps having a central segment disposed therebetween. The vertical segment depends from the central segment. Hook fastening members are secured to the inside surface of the horizontal segment at each retention flap. A planar dipole antenna for dual-band Wi-Fi application is disclosed. The antenna has a ground copper and a radiation copper. The ground copper is adhered to a substrate and has an upper, shorter and generally horizontal segment and a lower, longer and also generally horizontal segment that are connected at one end thereof by a vertical segment. The radiation copper is adhered to the substrate and has a copper shaped substantially as a mirror symmetry of the ground copper and spaced apart from the ground copper by a gap at the end of the ground and radiation coppers where the shorter and longer horizontal segments thereof are connected. A plastic container for a particulate product includes a base and a surrounding wall member upstanding therefrom which generally define a container main interior volume. A top connects to the surrounding wall member and includes a large opening closed by a lid. The surrounding wall member includes a vertical side portion which is arcuate in lateral cross section and in which a pass-through handle is located having a generally vertical segment. The opening of the top is sufficiently large to extend over a portion of the hollow cavity; or is sufficiently wide to receive about a 5″ diameter cylinder therethrough, and has a ratio of a minimum span to a bottom diagonal of at least about 90%. A rail structure for use as part of a fence construction. The rail has a rigid support member enclosed by a sleeve, the sleeve having a groove or channel extending along its longitudinal length and a hollow chamber for receiving the support member therein. The channel is dimensioned to receive a plurality of slats disposed in spaced relation to one another such that when received in the channels of opposed rails a fence section is formed. A print media processing apparatus having scanner feed rollers for holding and transporting print media against an image scanner appropriately controls the scanner feed roller position. The scanner feed rollers are opposite the image scanner, which is disposed along a vertical segment of a transportation path along which a check or form is transported. A roller retraction mechanism moves the scanner feed rollers between a closed position in which the rollers press against the scanning surface, and an open position in which the rollers are retracted therefrom. The scanner feed rollers retract to the open position a specific time after scanning ends. By delaying retraction of the rollers in this manner, the present invention solves the problem of a check or other print media, after having been processed and transported to the exit side of the rollers, from slipping down between the rollers and the image scanner into the vertical transportation path because the rollers opened as soon as scanning ends.

An outer belt molding is provided for a motor vehicle door having a door panel defining a window opening. The outer belt molding includes an elongated main body adapted to be attached to the door panel along a lower edge of the window opening. The elongated main body includes a mounting portion including a vertical segment abutting a portion of the door panel and an outer segment extending out from the vertical segment abutting another portion of the door panel.
