An automated warehouse system row cart includes a lifter that uses cams to raise and lower pallets. Three symmetrical cam lobes are cut into a hollow cylinder. Three matching cam lifters ride these lobes and are attached to an elevator plate. A stepper motor running in one direction is used to raise and lower the elevator plate by virtue of the action between the cam lobes and lifters.

A second gas spring is connected to a left side handle of the frame of the wheelbarrow and to a left rear underside of the barrow. The lift includes a power actuating system, a platform assembly having first and second platform sections, and a linking assembly connecting the power actuating system to the platform assembly. The linking assembly includes first and second vertical arms connected to the platform assembly. The platform assembly is movable between a fully extended configuration, a pre-stowed position and a stowed position. The first and second vertical arms are a first distance apart when the platform assembly is in the fully extended configuration and the pre-stowed position and a second distance apart when the platform assembly is in the stowed position. The second distance is less than the first distance.

A lifter is disclosed which allows for an improved operating envelope of the faceplate. The lifter utilizes a motor having 210 degrees of rotation and lifting arms of a unique geometry to rotate a faceplate from a retracted position below and substantially behind the lifter baseplate to a dumping position above and substantially behind a lower hopper edge for the purpose of dumping refuse carts into a refuse collection vehicle. This dumps refuse further into the vehicle hopper, which minimizes the number of packing cycles required on a collection route. A faceplate is attached to the motor using two lifting arms. A modular lift system that can be mounted on a stairway is disclosed. The system includes forks located on a first floor onto which the user rolls their wheelchair. The forks are motor operated to traverse a toothed track between the first floor and a second floor with the wheelchair and the user riding the forks. When the forks reach the second floor, the user rolls the wheelchair off the forks.

A sheet stacking and pallet loading system configured to stack sheets of material on a first pallet while holding a second pallet in a staging position above the first pallet. The system can include an elevator for supporting the first pallet in a loading position while the sheets are stacked on the first pallet. After a sufficient quantity of sheets has been stacked thereon, the elevator can lower the first pallet from its loading position. The second pallet can then be lowered from its staging position such that the sheets can be stacked thereon. The system can further include extendable pallet supports which can be extended to support the second pallet while the first pallet is being lowered by the elevator. A hitch mounted lift platform includes platform and lift base back-up sensors for detecting and alerting a vehicle occupant of a rear obstruction being approached to prevent collision and damage to the lift platform, items carried on the lift and the rear obstruction. The lift platform includes quick disconnect devices for connecting and disconnecting the associated wiring for easy attachment and detachment of the lift platform from the vehicle. The back-up sensors communicate with a visual display and / or speakers for visually and audibly alerting the vehicle occupant of any approaching rear obstructions. In operation, the visual display is activated when the vehicle is put in reverse. An audible alerting noise, such as beeping, is initiated by the back-up sensors detecting the vehicle is coming within a predetermined distance of an obstruction.

A watercraft lift with translating bunks supported by a base frame and having rollers mounted to the base frame to initially raises the watercraft upward when driven onto the lift sufficiently to be positioned above the bunks when in their lowered position and thereby permit operation of the lift in water too shallow for use of the bunks by themselves. A wheelchair lift for use in conjunction with a vehicle having a floor. The lift includes a power actuating system, a platform assembly having first and second platform sections, a linking assembly having first and second vertical arms connected to the platform assembly, and first and second fold-facilitating links connecting the first and second vertical arms respectively to the first and second platform sections. The linking assembly connects the power actuating system to the platform assembly. During a folding process, the first and second fold-facilitating links cause the first platform section to pivot with respect to the second platform section and the first vertical arm to move with respect to the second vertical arm.

The elevator further includes non-driven cambered diverting wheels, each said first rope section being arranged to pass around a first cambered diverting wheel, in particular resting against a cambered circumferential surface area thereof, and each the second rope section being arranged to pass around a second cambered diverting wheel, in particular resting against a cambered circumferential surface area thereof. A rope monitoring arrangement is configured to monitor displacement of each of the first rope sections in the axial direction of the wheels away from a predefined zone, and displacement of each of the second rope sections in the axial direction of the wheels away from a predefined zone. The elevator is configured to stop the rotation of the drive wheel when one or more of the first and second rope sections is displaced in the axial direction of the wheels away from a predefined zone.

The boat lift comprises in combination, a cradle upon which the hull of a boat is adapted to rest.
