A microprocessor circuit that is used to monitor and control a firearm. The microprocessor circuit accomplishes this by monitoring various sensor & control inputs, and acting on these inputs to execute user defined functions. The microprocessor circuit can use the sensory input to determine firearm statistics. These statistics can include the number of times the firearm has been shot, the efficiency of the firearm automatic action, range-to-target, and et cetera. The firearm system can also use a combination of sensors to fabricate a bullet chronograph whereby the muzzle velocity of a cartridge can be determined. These statistics can be date-stamped and recorded into memory. Statistics from Law Enforcement firearms can be used for courtroom evidence and police reporting. These statistics can also be used for firearm maintenance and warranty repair. The microprocessor circuit can display the statistical data to the user via simple light emitting diodes, or sophisticated liquid crystal displays. Data can also be downloaded to a computer docking station as well. The microprocessor circuit can also display the information within the optics of a riflescope. When used in conjunction with a laser range finder sensor, the microprocessor circuit can adjust the electronic cross-hairs (reticle) to compensate for the bullet trajectory.

A fore grip with a concealable and collapsible bipod has a tubular recess consisting of two cylindrical cutouts the housing for the legs when concealed and as the housing for a sliding piston that deploys the legs. A release has a compression spring positioned between piston assembly and the bottom of the first cutout and this spring; The legs are connected to the bottom of the piston via a hinge and spring that when released causes the legs to expand outward until fully deployed.

A rapid feed paintball loader for use upon a conventional paintball gun. The rapid feed paintball loader includes a container for holding a plurality of paintballs. At a bottom portion of the container is a rotatable drive cone having a plurality of vertical fins. Each fin spirals outwardly from a center axis of the drive cone. In addition, each fin forms a gap with an adjacent fin large enough to accommodate a paintball. At the bottom of the container is an exit tube which exits from the bottom portion of the container and leads to an inlet tube of the paintball gun. A portion of the exit tube is sloped at an angle equivalent to the slope of a top surface of the drive cone. A catch arm is mounted on an interior surface of the container adjacent to the sloped exit portion of the exit tube. The catch arm is mounted at a height which is above the top surface of the fins, and which is approximately equal to the radius of a paintball. During the operation of the paintball loader, a plurality of paintballs are placed in the interior space of the container. The paintballs fall into the gaps of the drive cone. The rotating drive cone pushes the paintballs toward the first opening. The catch arm then forces the paintball located in the gap into the exit tube for delivery to the paintball gun.

An apparatus for transporting inventory items includes a housing, a drive module, a docking module, an elevating shaft, and a rotation module. The drive module is capable of propelling the apparatus in at least a first direction. The docking head is capable of coupling to or supporting an inventory holder. The rotation module is capable of inducing rotation in the housing relative to the elevating shaft. The elevating shaft connects to the docking head and is capable of raising the docking head when the housing is rotated relative to the elevating shaft.

A weapon grip assembly (16) for attachment to a forward portion of a weapon is provided. The invention includes a base assembly (20) supported for operative engagement by a handle (22). The base assembly includes clamps (24) adapted to be secured to a forward portion of the weapon and further includes a post (38) having a clamp end adapted to retain the clamps (24) for pivot motion with respect thereto. The post (38) of the base assembly (20) is received within a bore of the handle, a mandrel (32) being interposed between the handle (22) and the clamps (24) of the base assembly (20). As the base assembly (20) is drawn into the handle (22), by rotation of the handle (22) about the post (38) of the base assembly (20), the mandrel (32) receives the clamp end of the post (38), with an upper free surface thereof engaging the clamps for pivoted closure about a portion of the weapon in furtherance of securing the weapon grip assembly (16) thereto.

The present invention is an ammunition magazine, preferably made of a glass fiber reinforced polymer, utilizing a structurally enhancing ridge, angular guide rails and a follower made to interface with said guide rails to reduce wobble. The preferred embodiment also features a protective cover that distributes forces from the spring to more structurally sound areas of the magazine, thus reducing feed end splay, and an ammunition indication system comprised of at least one window and a noticeable marker on the follower spring. The follower and magazine casing are also designed to interface to prevent the follower from popping out of the feed end and the floor plate of the magazine utilizes a locking plate and sliding relationship between the floor plate, locking plate and magazine to secure the floor plate onto the magazine casing. The cover features built in tools for, among other things, unloading and disassembling the magazine.

An automatic cartridge monitoring and indicator system for a firearm having a magazine and a chamber for monitoring the level of a predetermined number of cartridges in the magazine and in the chamber includes: a magazine for storing at least the predetermined number of cartridges; a follower mechanism for feeding the cartridges from the magazine into the chamber; an actuator moveable with the follower mechanism; a monitoring device disposed along the path of the follower mechanism; the monitoring device including a number of magazine switch elements corresponding to the predetermined number of cartridges in the magazine and an additional chamber switch element corresponding to a cartridge in the chamber; the switch elements are operable by the actuator to monitor the level of cartridges in the magazine and chamber; and an indicator device, responsive to the monitoring device, for providing a representation of the level of cartridges in the magazine and in the chamber.

The invention relates to a paintgun having a barrel assembly with a barrel and a firing mechanism for paintballs; a trigger assembly connected with the barrel assembly for actuating the firing mechanism; and a revolving disc for feeding paintballs interposed between the barrel and the firing mechanism; a series of uniformly spaced paintball holes being formed at the rim of the revolving disc that is rotatable by a driving apparatus to bring the paintballs within the paintball holes to a discharge area coaxial to the barrel for discharging the paintballs; and a paintball adjacent to the revolving disc and the firing mechanism within the barrel assembly being provided for storing the paintballs disposed. Meanwhile, the paintball container includes a guiding slope for directing the paintballs into the paintball holes. The revolving disc with the paintballs is rotatable one after another to the discharge area.

A marking indicia is formed on a base surface located in the interior surface of a cartridge chamber containing the cartridge and includes marking lands raised with respect to the base surface and a maximum marking indicia elevation above the base surface that is coplanar with the interior surface. A firearm grip with a rest is provided, which at least has a grip body with a hollow portion, a shell encasing and combined with an outside of the grip body and exposing a bottom of the grip body, and a rest received in the grip body and capable of being projected from the bottom of the grip body to position and support the firearm grip against a setting surface. The present invention is directed to a ball feed mechanism for use in a paintball loader. The ball feed mechanism includes a feeder which conveys or impels balls toward a feed neck, and a drive member which is concentric with the impeller. The feeder is coupled to the drive member through a spring. The spring is configured to store potential energy which is used to rotate the feeder and, thus, drive the balls toward the feed neck. An electric motor is used to rotate the drive member to wind the spring. The feed mechanism includes sensors which detect the motion of the feeder and the drive member. A controller determines the spring tension based on the relative motion of the feeder and drive member, and actuates a motor when necessary.

A modular firearm is disclosed. The firearm that can be configured to operate using ammunition of different calibers via interchangeability of only a few parts. The firearm includes a foldable butt stock assembly for quickly and easily converting the firearm from an extended operating configuration to a compact transport configuration, and vice-versa. A loader apparatus for use with a paintball marker having a paintball inlet is provided. The loader apparatus includes a base attachable to the paintball marker, a cartridge removably attachable to the base, a motive means and a delivery conduit. The cartridge includes a chamber for paintballs. The chamber has a paintball outlet. The cartridge further includes a flow assistor. The motive means is operatively connected to the flow assistor when the cartridge is attached to the base. The delivery conduit is in flow communication with the paintball outlet of the chamber and with the paintball inlet of the paintball marker when the cartridge is attached to the base and the base is mounted to the paintball marker.

A gunshot detection system includes a firearm and a communication device. The firearm includes a transceiver circuit that detects the discharge of an ammunition round. Upon the discharge occurring, the transceiver circuit emits an electromagnetic signal. The electromagnetic signal is received by the communication device, which may be a cellular telephone or two-way radio. The communication device is equipped with a geographic location sensor, like a GPS receiver for example. Software within the communication device then causes an informational message that includes geographic information to be transmitted to a remote device. For instance, when a police officer discharges his firearm, an informational message stating “Officer 1234 has just fired 3 shots at the intersection of Cucumber and Vine—please respond” may be transmitted. The informational message may change as information like the geographic location change.

Adapter devices, apparatus, systems and methods of allowing a firearm to be supported by a foldable fore grip/gun handle. The fore grip gun handle can have bipod type legs that can be extendable from the handle. The fore grip handle can be just a vertical extension. The adapter can allow for the fore grip/gun handle to move from a fold back position along the bottom of the firearm so that the firearm can be easily carried, and the adapter to can allow for the handle to move down to a vertical support position beneath the firearm when the firearm is to be used. The adapter can also support a light in both a folded position and in a downwardly extended position, where light can be aimed forward, rearward to the side and/or pointed down from the firearm. The adapter can allow for a dual functioning component that can be either or both a fore grip and/or a light source. Other versions of the adapter can include a slidable thumb switch for locking a swinging plate with picatinny side rails to a main plate, and spring loaded detents for locking the swinging plate in substantially vertical orientations. Additionally, a folding rail system can be substituted for the existing picatinny rail system on firearms. The folding rail can have mounting holes for allowing the entire folding rail to be directly attached to the firearm, and have a hinge for allowing portions of the picatinny rails to pivot relative to the rest of the picatinny rails.

An object taking-out apparatus for taking out objects randomly stacked in a container according to a condition of how each object is placed, which includes a robot hand having telescopic means and a coupling member whose one ends are connected to a robot arm end, and holding means coupled to their other ends. The telescopic means expands and contracts to cause the holding means to assume either a first orientation where a small angle is formed or a second orientation where a large angle is formed between a holding direction axis of the holding means and a rotary axis of the robot arm end, thereby taking out objects without causing interaction between the robot and the container.
