Image processing method, system, program, program storage medium and information processing apparatus

This invention provides the following environment. That is, an original document file corresponding to a document to be copied is specified from image data of that document to be copied, and a print process is made based on the specified file so as to prevent deterioration of image quality. Also, when a document to be copied is not registered, a registration process is executed to suppress deterioration of image quality in an early stage. Furthermore, since the document is converted into vector data, re-use of such document is facilitated, and deterioration of image quality can be suppressed even when an image process such as enlargement or the like is made. To this end, when an original digital file cannot be specified, an apparatus of this embodiment executes a vectorization process (S54), converts the obtained vector data into a data format that can be re-used by an application (S55), and registers the converted file in a file server (S56). With this registration process, since the location of the file is settled, that location information is composited on an image to be scanned using an identifier such as a two-dimensional barcode or the like (S48), and the composite image can be printed (S49). Even when the printed document is scanned again, a registered digital file can be easily specified.

Image forming apparatus, image forming method, and image forming program

An image forming apparatus comprises: a recording head that record dots corresponding to pixels of image data by discharging ink droplets from plural nozzles and discharge, in correspondence to the dots, colorless or light-colored aggregating liquid that causes color material in the ink to aggregate; storage means that stores an image data conversion rule for converting the image data per pixel in accordance with the percentage of the amount of the aggregating liquid with respect to the amount of the discharge ink droplets that record the dots, with the image data conversion rule being determined so that differences in one or both of color and concentration when discharging different amounts of the aggregating liquid onto the dots recorded on the basis of the image data after conversion in accordance with the image data conversion rule become smaller with respect to differences in one or both of color and concentration when discharging different amounts of the aggregating liquid onto the dots recorded on the basis of the image data prior to conversion; setting means that sets the percentage of the amount of the aggregating liquid with respect to the amount of the ink droplets discharged in correspondence to the pixels of the image data; converting means that converts the image data on the basis of the image data conversion rule corresponding to the percentage of the amount of the aggregating liquid set by the setting means; and control means that controls the recording head to record dots in accordance with the image data converted by the converting means and controls the recording head to discharge, in correspondence to the dots, the aggregating liquid of which amount corresponds to the amount of the aggregating liquid of the percentage set by the setting means.

Solid-state imaging apparatus and method for driving solid-state imaging device

Vertical transfer portions for transferring signal charges from photoelectric conversion portions in a vertical direction and a horizontal transfer portion for transferring them in a horizontal direction are provided, and each of a plurality of vertical transfer stages constituting the vertical transfer portion is provided with a plurality of phases of transfer electrodes. The transfer electrodes at a vertical last stage include independent transfer electrodes (V3R, V5R) for at least two phases, that are independent of the other vertical transfer stages, have identical configurations repeated in a unit of n columns, and are in common among corresponding columns in a plurality of the units of n columns and independent of the independent transfer electrodes belonging to the other columns in the unit of n columns. A signal transfer stage from which the signal charge is read out and a dummy transfer stage from which the signal charge is not read out are formed alternately, the signal charge at the signal transfer stage and a dummy signal at the following dummy transfer stage are mixed together at the vertical last stage and then transferred to the horizontal transfer portion. In the case where a dummy transfer stage is formed for transfer, it is possible to suppress transfer degradation and mix a dummy signal with a signal charge.
