The invention discloses a dynamic video tracking system based on sound source positioning. The dynamic video tracking system comprises a plurality of microphones, an audio acquisition module, a digital signal processor (DSP), a phase-locked loop, a flash module, a field programmable gate array (FPGA) module and a synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) module. In order to overcome the defects of the conventional video tracking monitoring technology, an audio signal is acquired by a microphone array which consists of a plurality of microphones, transmitted to the audio acquisition module and subjected to analog to digital (A/D) conversion; a corresponding digital signal is transmitted to the DSP, and an azimuth angle and a control signal are obtained by processing operation through a relevant algorithm program, transmitted to a universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) and subjected to parallel-serial conversion; and the control signal is transmitted to a stepping motor and a holder, so tracking shooting of a target sound source can be realized. Compared with the prior art, the dynamic video tracking system has the advantages that a small number of cameras are required to be installed, a monitoring area is ensured, and production cost can be reduced.
