Surgical trays are placed within the cabinet, the cabinet doors are closed, and the mobile apparatus is placed within an autoclave and sterilized. The cabinet doors are not unsealed until the cabinet is in the operating room, ready for use. During use in the operating room, doors are opened, trays removed, and their contents used. Wheels on the cabinet facilitate moving the cabinet from autoclave to storage or operating room. Chemical indicators and a locator card may be used to verify the sterilization status and autoclave history of the cabinet and its contents. If the customer' line passes this step, the program determines whether the line coupled between the customer and a central office servicing that customer is electrically qualified for DSL communications. A series of tests to measure signal levels, noise, and other characteristics are performed by a test server, which generally include local loop tests to determine the presence of bridged taps, load coils, and subscriber line concentrators. After the tests are completed, the customer can receive the results, order completion and other instructions.

A thermal scanning system and method. The thermal scanning system comprises a handheld thermal scanning device with wheels and three infrared sensors that are spaced to scan skin temperature on opposite sides of patient spinal columns of different sizes. Two out of the three sensors are selected for a particular patient, and the wheels are adjustable to accommodate the two selected sensors. The handheld device further calculates the distance traveled by the wheels by measuring the rotation of the wheels. In the closed position there is an axial play between the first control piston and the first needle unit. A second control piston cooperates with the second needle unit and can be acted on with the control pressure on a second control surface. In the closed position the second control piston rests directly or indirectly against the second nozzle needle. At middle to high pressures in the pressure chamber, both nozzle needles can close quickly. With a rapid pressure increase in the pressure chamber, the second nozzle needle can open quickly and the two nozzle needles can close quickly. With a relatively low to middle speed pressure increase in the pressure chamber, the second nozzle needle does not open or only opens at a higher pressure.
