An communicating
system (1) comprises a receiving device (5) to be secured around a dog's neck (6) and a smart
mobile phone (7) configured by an app to communicate with the receiving device (5). A plurality of voice command signals and corresponding whistle command signals are stored in an
electronic memory (14) of the receiving device (5). A
microcontroller (20) in the receiving device (5) is responsive to select signals transmitted by the smart
mobile phone (7) corresponding to the voice command signals for sequentially applying the selected voice and corresponding whistle command
signal to a sounder (16) in the receiving device (5) for reproducing the selected voice and whistle command
signal in audible word and whistle forms to command the dog to carry out the corresponding command. The commands that are stored in the voice command signals are "sit", "stay", "come", "drop-it", "
heel" and "leave-it", and are recorded along with the name of the dog by the smart
mobile phone (7) in the voice of the dog owner and are uploaded to the
electronic memory (14) of the receiving device (5) by the smart mobile phone (7) when the smart mobile phone (7) and the receiving device (5) are operating in a setup mode.
