Stackable and collapsible pallet container

The pallet container is stackable on similar containers, without resting on the goods within the containers below, preventing damage to the palleted goods. Side panels of the pallet container hinge upon fold onto the base of the stabilize the propellers of a wind machine or alternatively a wind powered generator, and more particularly a system. The invention comprises a transportable and collapsible storage container, sized to receive a pallet of stacked articles. The storage container is stackable, to support a similar container stacked on top, without damage to the palleted contents stored within the container. The load of the storage container stacked above is handled by the walls of the storage container below. Preferably, the four walls of the pallet container hinge at the base of each wall, to fold flat for compact storage. The walls may be solid, slatted, meshed or grate. The walls interlock, when raised from the flat, storage position, to prevent unwanted folding of the container. The storage container may be employed as a stand-alone rack system, or in a carrier, such as a rail car, flatbed truck or trailer combination.

Chuck and lock system with extendable brace for preventing falling of flatbed truck loads

A chuck and lock system prevents the load on a flatbed truck from shifting at the destination during offloading. The system includes one or more extendable brace units or vertical stakes and a movable chuck and lock, which operates as a socket locking each extendable brace in place. The chuck and lock unit is attached to dunnage underneath the load. The units can be spaced on either side of the load where needed. The load is held on each side between the vertical braces adjacent to the load and which are adjusted for the height of the load. Straps are supported by the extendable braces and go over the load. At the destination, prior to unloading, all straps or lashings are removed or loosened. The vertical braces prevent the load from shifting sideways and causing an accident. The load is offloaded by a load lift.

Truck safety modules for assisting workpersons to place and retrieve traffic delineators

Right and left safety module embodiments are designed to be installed in insets located midway along right and left sides of flatbed trucks. The modules provide “man baskets” that have lower and upper platforms. While the truck is being driven alongside a roadway work zone, a workperson standing on the module's lower platform either 1) moves traffic delineators one at a time from the upper platform, and then places the delineators at spaced locations alongside the roadway work zone, or 2) removes traffic delineators one at a time from spaced locations alongside the roadway work zone, and then places the delineators onto the upper platform. Vertically movable safety rails and pivotal safety gates of the modules prevent falls from the modules of workpersons standing on the lower platform.

Alignment pulley

A deck mountable pulley designed to align automobiles with the rear of a flat bed truck, from any angle, up to ninety degrees from the longitude axis of the pulley. The present invention, working in concert with a winch and suitable length of cable, will allow for the operator of a flatbed wrecker to pull an automobile out of hard to reach places and align one end of the automobile with the back end of the flatbed truck. A pulley cable moves around a rotatable drum, affixed to the rear of the flat bed tow truck. The drum is mounted to a base plate having a center spindle. The spindle is set into a similar circumference sized receiving hole on the rear deck of the flat bed truck. A retaining pin is inserted crossways through the bottom portion of the spindle, which when correctly installed, is located directly underneath the bed of the wrecker, to provide stability for the pulley. Two L-shaped brackets, mounted on top of the base plate, rise vertically on opposing sides of the base plate and are outside the perimeter of the rotatable drum. The purpose of the L-shaped brackets, is to keep the cable in place, should the cable become slack, while the cable rotates around the drum.
