The present invention relates to a core-shell acrylic binder used for roof coating, and a manufacturing method therefor. The core-shell acrylic binder of the present invention is characterized in that a core part and a shell part have a specific glass transition temperature, and the core part and the shell part have a specific mass ratio. The core-shell acrylic binder may have excellent elongation, elasticity and durability, and may also have good antifouling properties. In particular, when forming a white-based roof coating layer vulnerable to contamination, a coating layer having an excellent appearance and improved antifouling properties can be formed.

The present invention provides two-component instant-set aqueous coating compositions that provide coating films having good film quality despite a rapid film build and set. A method for generating a shingle roofing coating is described. The method includes mixing 1% by weight to 20% by weight of an elastomeric polymer with an asphalt flux to generate a concentrate. The concentrate is then heated and mixed with an oxidized asphalt feedstock. The mixture of the concentrate and oxidized asphalt is then heated to generate the shingle roofing coating. A method for producing coated particles for a roof coating, comprising the steps of: a) providing cristobalite particles, wherein the cristobalite particles have a D50vol of 0.1 to 5 mm, b) providing a silanizing agent, and c) mixing the cristobalite particles and the silanizing agent in order to obtain coated particles.
