The invention provides an electronic infusion pump and an exhaust control method. The electronic infusion pump comprises a microprocessor, an input module, a pumping module and a bubble detector. The input module is used for inputting an air displacement. The bubble detector is used for detecting bubbles in an extrusion pipe. The microprocessor is used for driving the extrusion pipe to discharge a liquid via the pumping module, and determining whether bubbles are detected by the detector, controlling the pumping module to drive the extrusion pipe to discharge a corresponding amount of soup according to the air displacement, to exhaust the bubbles out of a main pip if the bubbles are detected by the detector, otherwise, determining whether the present air displacement reaches up to the air displacement, and stop driving the pumping module to stop exhausting if the present air displacement reaches up to the air displacement, otherwise, continuing to detect whether bubbles are detected by the detector.
