SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR
PATHOLOGY SPECIMEN COLLECTION ADDRESSING NETWORK DISRUPTIONS AND DATA PRIVACY The present invention provides a
system and method for
pathology collection. A computer-implemented method for improved functioning of electronic
pathology systems to overcome network disruptions is disclosed. This method encompasses receiving
patient information and a
list of requested medical tests, including the medical professional's identification, then determining suitable container types for the tests and generating a unique string encapsulating the test details, container indications, and
patient information. The generated string comprising the
decision tree indication and the scores assigned to each set of container indication. The generated string is further secured through
encryption. Subsequently, a collector's device captures and processes this pattern, extracting and decrypting the necessary information using the corresponding public key. The container indications are presented to the collector, complete with images and quantities of required containers. A
