Haptic feedback controller, method of controlling the same, and method of transmitting messages that uses a haptic feedback controller

A haptic feedback controller 100 according to the present invention is a haptic feedback controller that controls a controlled appliance and includes a base 110, a cap 120, a piezoelectric motor 130, a rotation control device, and a rotational state detecting device. According to haptic feedback controller 100 of the present invention, the piezoelectric motor 130 that can produce a large torque even when rotating at low speed is used, so that even when the cap 120 is rotated at low speed, sufficiently large haptic feedback can be applied to the cap 120. Also, since the base 110 and the cap 120 are respectively fixed to the stator 140 and the rotor 150 of the piezoelectric motor 130, there is no backlash. As a result, according to the present invention it is possible to provide a haptic feedback controller for which there is no loss in the ability to express haptic feedback, so that a wide variety of haptic feedback can be expressed.

Air actuated ball game

An air actuated ball game which utilizes a table-like member having an exterior frame supporting a circular top surface. The top surface has a plurality of holes therethrough and is divided into equal segments each having a different color. Air from a fan or similar air generating means is compelled through the holes for moving sets of balls, each set of balls having a different color, around the top surface of the table-like member. Each of the sets of balls has a color which matches one of the segments. As balls move around the top surface, players must retrieve certain balls which drop into openings in each segment and bounce the balls into a cup located at the center of the top surface. Various rules of play are anticipated based on these basic game components.

Multi-level simple lotto

In a lotto game the lotto draw is made from numbers within a multiplicity universes of numbers, with (1) each number universe having all the numbers normal to the lotto game, and with (2) at least one number universe having associated with at least one number of the universe a secondary indicia, or differentiator, that of one or more types each of which types is called a “color”. No two numbers of the lotto draw are the same whether plain or colored, but the lotto draw of different numbers can contain one or more numbers that are each of the one or more colors. Lotto wagers, or tickets, containing winning numbers matching the lotto draw sufficient for a winning payout are paid full normal amounts if the matched numbers are all plain numbers, but if the winning numbers of the lotto ticket contain some predetermined quantity of numbers that match numbers of the lotto draw that are colored numbers, then the winning payout is increased above levels that would correspondingly have been paid should the same winning payout of the lotto ticket have matched only numbers of the lotto draw that were plain numbers.

Projectile launcher apparatus with magazine

A toy launcher apparatus of a soft foam dart where the dart is loaded onto a spike in a firing chamber by a pusher panel that presses against the nose of the dart. The apparatus includes a dart magazine with a feed mechanism. The pusher panel is followed by a barrier sleeve that prevents the next uppermost dart in the magazine, which is being biased upward by the feed mechanism, from causing either the uppermost dart or the second uppermost dart to distort and cause a jam. The barrier sleeve also prevents the magazine from being loaded through a top opening until the uppermost dart in the firing chamber is launched. Near the end of a cocking cycle, the pusher panel, which is connected to a cam follower tab that engages a cam member, moves away from a launch path of the dart in the firing chamber.

Puzzle game incorporating a rotational element and methods of playing thereof

A puzzle game and method of playing provides for sequentially ordering a plurality of tiles that are originally oriented in a random pattern, and where a rotational element is included to increase the challenge. The game includes a frame with a central horizontal shaft defining a plurality of slide rows. A plurality of tiles are slideable along the horizontal axis within each of the plurality of slide rows, each of the plurality of tiles having a design on a front facing portion of the tile and an inverted form of the design on a rear facing portion of the tile. A sub-frame is rotatably mounted in the frame for rotating about the shaft. When the player rotates the sub-frame by one-hundred eighty degrees during game play, the plurality of slide rows containing a sub-set of the plurality of tiles are oriented such that the rear facing portions of the sub-set of the plurality of tiles are viewable from the front facing portion of the frame, and the plurality of slide rows are inverted as viewed along the vertical axis. Using the puzzle game, a player slides the tiles in each row left or right along the horizontal axis. The player selectively rotates the sub-frame to orient the slide rows and corresponding tiles in a different position as viewed along the vertical axis. The sliding and rotating steps are repeated until the designs on the tiles are positioned in a logical or sequential pattern.
