The invention relates to an ad hoc network apparatus based on
the Internet of Things. The ad hoc network apparatus comprises a sensor information collection apparatus, a receiving and
relay forwarding device and a monitoring center access device, and the three groups of devices perform ad hoc network linkage through the ZigBee technology. The ad hoc network apparatus is characterized in that the sensor information collection apparatus is adhered and installed on a manhole cover and comprises a shell, a cover, a heat insulation cover, a sensor
chip and a battery. The receiving and
relay forwarding device is installed on a street lamp or other facilities with municipal power supply functions for receiving
polling information of all sensors within a
radius of several hundreds of meters and transmitting back the
polling information to a monitoring center through a self-organization
Internet of Things relay of the device. The monitoring center access device is used as a bridge from the self-organization
Internet of Things to the monitoring center
system software and is responsible for receiving and transmitting
polling information of the manhole covers to the monitoring
software and maintaining the self-organization
Internet of Things. The ad hoc network apparatus provided by the invention has the advantages of simple and fast deployment, low cost, good monitoring and real-time performance, and capability of monitoring the use of public facilities such as manhole covers in real time.
