A winding type lead-acid storage battery with continuous tabs and a membrane safety valve comprises a battery shell, a battery cell and the safety valve and is characterized in that the battery cell forms a cylindrical body by winding a positive pole plate, a negative pole plate and a separator by a battery cell winding shaft, wherein the separator is arranged between the positive pole plate and the negative pole plate, a positive current collection disc and a negative current collection disc are respectively arranged at tops of two ends of the battery cell, a tab, namely a positive continuous tab is arranged at a top end of one side, near to the positive current collection disc, of the positive pole plate and is equal to the positive pole plate in length, a spiral groove, namely a positive pole plate clamping groove is formed in the current collection disc, and the continuous tabs of the pole plates are clamped in the pole plate clamping grooves along the pole plate clamping grooves and are fixed by a welding method. The winding type lead-acid storage battery has the beneficial effects that by a special end-surface current collection structure, the current collection areas of the battery pole plates are expanded, and the mechanical strength and the anti-vibration performance of electrodes are substantially improved; and the battery can be protected very well by the dual-membrane safety valve, so that the safety of the battery is improved, and the cycle lifetime of the battery is prolonged.
