The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding an Alfa-cyclodextrin grafted oligopeptide mixed dispersing agent into deionized water, and stirring, so that a mixed solution A is obtained; and adding a phytoncide stock solution and the penetrating agent into the mixed solution A, uniformly stirring, adding the silver-loaded nanometric anatase type titanium dioxide, and uniformly stirring, so that a finished product is obtained. The formaldehyde elimination agent disclosed by the invention has good permeability, and can deeply permeate into the interior of a material to further adsorb and degrade harmful substances at deep layers; and the used raw materials have the characteristics of extensive source, environmental friendliness, wide application range, low treatment cost, simplicity in application and no secondary pollution.
