The ecological slow-release carbon source provided by the invention can maintain release of the carbon source for a long time, the average removal rate of nitrate nitrogen is maintained at about 92% andis far higher than the rate of release of the carbon source of a natural straw material, and secondary pollution to a water environment cannot be caused after long-term use of the ecological slow-release carbon source.
