The application provides a method for inducing capsaicin synthesis by using a light signal transcription factor CaBBX2, and specifically comprises an experimental method for studying the influence of silencing CaBBX2 gene on capsaicin synthesis in a living plant. The CaBBX2 gene is silenced in a living pepper, and the contents of capsaicin, dihydrocapsaicin and total capsaicin and the expression changes of capsaicin synthesis related genes in the pepper fruits at 16d, 25d, 33d and 38d after pollination are observed and analyzed. The invention discloses a synthesis method of dihydrocapsaicin, which comprises the following steps: taking terminal halogenated fatty alcohol as an initial raw material, and protecting hydroxyl of the terminal halogenated fatty alcohol to obtain a hydroxyl-protected intermediate; carrying out coupling reaction on the hydroxyl protected intermediate and a Grignard reagent derived from halogenated hydrocarbon under the catalysis of a copper-based Lewis acid catalyst; or carrying out coupling reaction on the Grignard reagent derived from the hydroxyl protected intermediate and halogenated hydrocarbon under the catalysis of a copper-based Lewis acid catalyst to obtain 8-methyl nonanol, oxidizing the 8-methylnonanol into 8-methylnonanoic acid; the method comprises the following steps: reacting 8-methylnonanoic acid with an activating agent, and then reacting with vanillin amine to obtain dihydrocapsaicin.
