This invention proposes an intelligent extraction method for heavy precipitation processes based on multimodal features and deep learning, comprising: generating buffer boundaries and constructing a time-series dataset of the target area; identifying three-dimensional storm cells based on U-Net segmentation of three-dimensional reflectance; performing multi-feature matching on three-dimensional storm cells at adjacent times to generate a storm trajectory set; extracting storm-affected periods and intermittent periods based on the storm trajectory set; dynamically adjusting the merging threshold based on a storm docking and diffusion matching model, combined with continuous coverage determination constraints along the dynamic main direction, to obtain convective weather process clusters; calculating the maximum hourly rainfall intensity and cumulative rainfall of the process by combining automatic weather station precipitation data, and outputting heavy precipitation event records when the threshold and overlap conditions are met; this method is used for the automated extraction and structured event record generation of heavy precipitation processes in irregularly shaped small- and medium-scale target areas, providing a sample basis with clear physical meaning for the training of heavy precipitation weather AI prediction models, the verification of forecasting technologies, and the analysis of mechanisms.
