This invention discloses a specific molecular marker for identifying eggplant Saet CMS cytoplasmic male sterility lines and its application. The molecular marker, Saet218b, was selected by comparing the mitochondrial genomes of the eggplant Saet CMS cytoplasmic male sterility line and its maintainer line.
