The invention relates to a grafted tree, in particular to a multi-layered grafted tree which is grafted in the current year and harvested next year and a
grafting method. At present, walnut
grafting is a traditional
grafting method, grafting methods in the prior art are low in
survival rate, grafting cuts are difficult to heal,
overwintering is difficult, and
economic benefits cannot be generated in time. The tree comprises a stock and multiple
layers of scions grafted on the stock, and a grafting vertical groove is formed by stripping
bark on the grafting portion of each layer on the stock; the
lower half portions of the scions are
cut to form long inclined faces, the backs of the long inclined faces at the lower ends of the scions are short inclined faces, and vertical faces are formed by stripping old
bark from the upper ends of the short inclined faces and the long inclined faces; the long inclined faces, the short inclined faces and the vertical faces are inserted into the grafting vertical grooves of the stock.
Grafting is easy and convenient to operate, the stock is slightly damaged, multi-layer grafting is achieved, and fruiting portions are increased. Healing is easy, the
survival rate is as high as 90% or above, the tree can not be blown down by sand wind, the tree can safely overwinter 100%, and after-grafting fruiting is early and the yield is high.
