The user online information management method comprises: an access-side network element forwards an online request to an authentication server when receiving the online request sent by a user terminal; when receiving the online request, the authentication server verifies the user terminal by using the online request and sends an online verification success response to the access-side network element after the verification succeeds; when receiving the online verification success response, the access-side network element sends an online message associated with the user terminal to a user online information management network element; after receiving the online message, the user online information management network element records the user online information of the user terminal. By newly adding a user online-offline information copying flow in a dialing user online-offline flow and setting the network element receiving the user online-offline information copying information at a network side, a defect of poor localization and openness of current dialing user online information can be effectively compensated.
