The invention discloses a method for applying an ionic liquid functionalized graphene modified electrode in concurrent detection of 5-hydroxytryptamine and dopamine, wherein an amine terminated imidazole ionic liquid and the epoxy group of graphene oxide lamellas are subjected to a nucleophilic ring opening reaction to form ionic liquid functionalized graphene, and then the ionic liquid functionalized graphene is modified on a glassy carbon electrode to form a modification layer so as to concurrently detecting 5-hydroxytryptamine and dopamine.
