Electrophotographic developer and carrier therefor, core material particle for carrier for electrophotographic developer and production method thereof and image forming method

The present invention can provide small-diameter core material particles for electrophotographic carrier, the particles that can prevent occurrences of carrier adhesions and reduce toner spent, have excellent durability and cause little fluctuations in image density with a narrow particle diameter distribution, and an efficient, cost-effective production method thereof. That is, the core material particles for electrophotographic carrier are particles wherein the weight average particle diameter, Dw, is in the range of 22 μm to 32 μm, the ratio of Dw to the number average particle diameter, Dp, satisfies the condition, 1<Dw / Dp<1.20, the content of particles smaller than 20 μm in diameter is in the range of 0% by mass to 7% by mass and smaller than 36 μm is in the range of 90% by mass to 100% by mass, and the BET specific surface area is in the range of 300 cm2 / g to 900 cm2 / g.

The present invention relates to an error correction encoding method for a high-density storage medium. This method arranges sequential input data so as to form a plurality of data blocks of a predefined matrix form, the plurality of data blocks being made sequentially, appends outer parity to each column of each data block in the column direction, appends inner parity to each row of each of the outer-parity-encoded data block in the row direction, reorders rows including outer parity so as to insert them separately into the other rows including no outer parity for each of the outer- and inner-parity-encoded data blocks, and writes rows in the same order in the reordered data blocks to a storage medium sequentially on row-by-row basis.

Water purifying and sterilizing disinfectant

The invention discloses a water purifying and sterilizing disinfectant, which comprises the following components: a potassium monopersulfate triple salt, a peroxide activation catalyst and an active halide preparation, wherein the mass ratio of the potassium monopersulfate triple salt to the peroxide activation catalyst is 500:1 to 5,000:1; and the mass ratio of the potassium monopersulfate triple salt to the active halide preparation is 1:1 to 10:1. The disinfectant has high water toxic matter removal capacity and high microorganism killing performance, avoids damaging human beings, animals and ecological environment, overcomes the drawbacks of relatively low oxidability, large using amount and generation of a large amount of by-products of chlorine, the drawbacks caused by the extremely short acting period and relatively high oxidability of ozone, has an extremely high sterilizing capacity that helps to reduce the using amount and acting period. And the disinfectant is free from residue and odor and is high in stability and extremely low in use cost.

Dynamic web based jar file finder

A technique for enhancing the startup operation of a user application within a client server network. At least the client is running software in JAVA language. Java Archive (JAR) files needed for startup are housed in the server. Rather than hard code the Jar files which makes upgrades difficult, embodiments of the present invention employ two applets operating on the same HTML page in the client. One applet, the Jar finder applet obtains all Jar files needed for startup from lists of Jar files stored in a directory which is also housed in the server. This directory is readily accessible to software developers allowing its easy modification by adding or removing Jar files or by substituting an entirely new directory. Another applet, the Jar user applet (or user application) receives the lists of Jar files from the Jar finder applet and thereafter obtains the actual Jar files from the directory in the server. After loading the Jar files, the Jar user applet launches the user application and the startup operation of the network is concluded.
