The invention further comprises a method for presetting and detecting deflections by using the presetting and detecting device for vehicle deflections of metro vehicles. All processes of the method disclosed by the invention can be realized on one tire position of technical equipment, the process required to lift the vehicle body to detect the deflection is avoided after the vehicle body is produced by using an ordinary process, the technical route is shortened and the invested cost of the technical equipment is reduced; and at the same time, the investment of the work procedures is reduced, the work time is shortened and a win-win effect of technology and economy is achieved.
