Event-specific contact is a single occasion when an individual has consented to be contacted by a broker. This might mean that an individual has filled out a contact sheet, emailed, or called and left a message with a broker.

Cry1F and Cry1AC transgenic cotton lines and event-specific identification thereof

This invention relates to plant breeding and the protection of plants from insects. More specifically, this invention includes novel transformation events of cotton plants comprising one or more polynucleotide sequences, as described herein, inserted into specific site(s) within the genome of a cotton cell. In highly preferred embodiments, said polynucleotide sequences encode “stacked” Cry1F and Cry1Ac lepidopteran insect inhibitory proteins. However, the subject invention includes plants having single cry1F or cry1Ac events, as described herein. Additionally, the invention is related to cotton plants derived from that transformation event and to assays for detecting the presence of the event in a sample. More specifically, the present invention provides DNA and related assays for detecting the presence of certain insect-resistance events in cotton. The assays are based on the DNA sequences of recombinant constructs inserted into the cotton genome and of the genomic sequences flanking the insertion sites. These sequences are unique. Based on these insert and border sequences, event-specific primers were generated. PCR analysis demonstrated that these cotton lines can be identified in different cotton genotypes by analysis of the PCR amplicons generated with these event-specific primer sets. Thus, these and other related procedures can be used to uniquely identify these cotton lines. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are also provided. These materials and methods can also be used to assist breeding programs to further develop traits in cotton.

Automated parallel and redundant subscriber contact and event notification system

An automated parallel and redundant subscriber contact and event notification system capable of being triggered by the change in status of any sensing device or process including the sensor of an alarm system or other event. The system enables automated simultaneous contact of one or more persons over a plurality of telephonic and electronic communication channels and provides parallel event-specific notification via voice, pager, voice mail, fax and email to the recipient(s) that are identified by electronic or speech recognized entry of a PIN and then provides them with a detailed message including the date and time of a specific event which has occurred with respect to a monitored sensor. A telephone switching or conferencing feature allows the recipient(s) to communicate directly with a predetermined or pre-programmed location or person or select from a menu based upon the type of event that has occurred and the pre-programmed selection list. The system may be custom programmed by the authorized subscriber via a telephone interactive voice response system or Internet web page that offers specific programming, reporting, contact numbers, and message options. The system may also be triggered or programmed to perform its notification based upon the failure to receive a anticipated input, input of a timer, pre-programmed to operate at a specific time, or triggered by another CPU.

Event access with data field encryption for validation and access control

ActiveUS20110246369A1Low costConvenient for consumerProtocol authorisationPre validationPayment
The utility of a portable consumer device is extended by allowing account holders the ability to gain entry into access-controlled venues (e.g., baseball or soccer game, cinema, public transit) using a portable consumer device that is associated with an account that was used to purchase the admission or tickets to the event at the access-controlled venue. Techniques disclosed allow cardholder authentication in a non-payment setting that enables cardholders access to a location or a specific event. A first validation cryptogram is generated in the purchase cycle and is stored. A second validation cryptogram is generated in the validation cycle at the venue. If the second validation cryptogram matches the first validation cryptogram, the consumer is granted access. Validation cryptograms may be based on input data that is specific to the payment card holder (e.g., primary account number), specific to the ticket selling merchant (e.g., merchant identifier), specific to the event (e.g., event identifier, date/time, location, etc.), and/or specific to the transaction (e.g., authorization code from a payment network). Based on the input data, validation cryptograms may be generated using encryption, hashing, a combination of encryption and hashing, and/or other operations on the input data.

Systems and methods for documentation of encounters and communications regarding same

Systems and methods for documenting an encounter and communicating about same are described. The systems and methods of this invention generally comprise an electronic records system for creating and maintaining information in electronic records; a point-of-encounter system in communication with the electronic records system, wherein the point-of-encounter system allows a scribe to document the encounter into a predetermined electronic record; and a library of event-specific templates usable for documenting the encounter. The systems of this invention allow new dynamically-generated templates to be created and added to the library of event-specific templates as needed. These systems may comprise various other components, such as, a website comprising information about a specific event; an access system that is capable of allowing a user to view, create and store details in their own electronic record in the electronic records system; a communications system for providing information to recipients; a library of documents for communicating information to the recipients; a compliance system for identifying whether or not each electronic record is complete; and/or a purchasing system capable of allowing goods and supplies to be purchased via a website.

System and method for service specific notification

Apparatus include a communication interface, a trigger interface, computer-readable media encloded subscriber-originated recipient list data, and a user interface. The user interface is configured to display and receive input from, via a computer screen display, plural sets of screen-displayed destination setting selection indicators for individually configuring sets of destination settings for corresponding event types. Each set of destination settings corresponds to a corresponding one of plural selectable event types selectable for causing corresponding triggered messages to be sent including sending the given event-specific message to the corresponding list of recipients. Individual ones of the selectable event types for a given user have corresponding differently configurable sets of destination settings, whereby the given user's selected destination settings for one selected event type cause one event-specific message to be sent to one device of the given user and the given user's selected destination settings for another selected event type cause another event-specific message to be sent to another device of the given user that is different than the one device. Meanwhile, selected ones of the selectable event types for the given user are selected by a user selecting, via the computer screen display, destination selection indicators corresponding to the selected ones of the selectable event types.
