This invention relates to plant breeding and the protection of plants from insects. More specifically, this invention includes novel transformation events of cotton plants comprising one or more polynucleotide sequences, as described herein, inserted into specific site(s) within the genome of a cotton cell. In highly preferred embodiments, said polynucleotide sequences encode “stacked” Cry1F and Cry1Ac lepidopteran insect inhibitory proteins. However, the subject invention includes plants having single cry1F or cry1Ac events, as described herein. Additionally, the invention is related to cotton plants derived from that transformation event and to assays for detecting the presence of the event in a sample. More specifically, the present invention provides DNA and related assays for detecting the presence of certain insect-resistance events in cotton. The assays are based on the DNA sequences of recombinant constructs inserted into the cotton genome and of the genomic sequences flanking the insertion sites. These sequences are unique. Based on these insert and border sequences, event-specific primers were generated. PCR analysis demonstrated that these cotton lines can be identified in different cotton genotypes by analysis of the PCR amplicons generated with these event-specific primer sets. Thus, these and other related procedures can be used to uniquely identify these cotton lines. Kits and conditions useful in conducting the assays are also provided. These materials and methods can also be used to assist breeding programs to further develop traits in cotton.

The systems and methods of this invention generally comprise an electronic records system for creating and maintaining information in electronic records; a point-of-encounter system in communication with the electronic records system, wherein the point-of-encounter system allows a scribe to document the encounter into a predetermined electronic record; and a library of event-specific templates usable for documenting the encounter. The systems of this invention allow new dynamically-generated templates to be created and added to the library of event-specific templates as needed. In accordance with one embodiment, an emergency management data processing system includes a field assessment database for storing and processing layered geospatial visual portrayal data and field surveillance attribute data. The emergency management data processing system includes an event setup data input interface for receiving an event identifier associated with an emergency event, a location identifier identifying a portion of the layered geospatial visual portrayal data corresponding to a region affected by the emergency event, and a field surveillance attribute category identifier specifying a category of the stored field surveillance attribute data. A system and method in which a Radio Link Failure, RLF, report from a User Equipment, UE, provides system time-based timestamps to enable a source node to correctly analyze the real cause of an RLF associated with a handover. The timestamps are provided for the latest fulfillment of each event-specific entering condition associated with a handover-triggering event and for the occurrence of the RLF. An event organizer configures the apparatus with event-specific information. The apparatus generates registration and appointment preference user interface forms that attendees use to register for the event and to request appointments with other attendees. A CAD system is integrated with field-based video surveillance systems to aid in searching video content and subsequent tagging of the video content. The systems and methods can include extracting keywords from a CAD incident report and creating a small, focused, and incident-specific dictionary on which to perform video searching in real-time. The small, focused, and incident-specific dictionary increases tagging accuracy and reduces tagging processing time in the context of video analytics. Further, a multi-pass approach in real-time continually updates and disseminates to video cameras of interest the small, focused, and incident-specific dictionary as the CAD incident report is updated and as the incident of interest plays out.

An automated child safety unlocking system for automobiles which disengages the child safety locks and unlocks the doors at appropriate times during events such as vehicle crashes. The vehicle ECU continually monitors the status of the vehicle to check if a crash event has occurred via various methods such as the status of airbag deployment, accelerometers placed in the car, and crumple points. In the event of a crash the vehicle ECU transmits one of at least two CSL command signals a child safety lock ECU. The command signals are each specific to an event severity and event type, and the child safety lock ECU then interprets the signal and acts according to the signal type. If the data interpreted indicates a crash, the child safety lock ECU unlocks the child safety locks, and if it does not determine a crash has not occurred, the locks remain engaged.
