The connector is internally provided with a closed spring and an adjusting valve. When the water inflow is adjusted from the water outlet end, the adjusting valve drives the piston to move towards the water outlet end under the influence of the water pressure, the tension of the closed spring is lowered, the prestress spring is compressed, and a piston head is pulled into a water inlet hole of a water inlet valve to block the water inlet hole, so that water cannot flow outwards; after adjustment is conducted, a faucet is screwed to the connector from the water outlet end, the connector moves towards the water inlet end along with the faucet, and the adjusting valve and the piston can be pushed to move towards the water inlet end; the closed spring is pressed towards the support, the adjusting valve returns to the position generated before adjusting is conducted, the distance between the piston head and a water outlet hole of a water outlet valve is changed, that is, the water pressure required for pushing the piston head into the water outlet hole of the water outlet valve is changed, the water yield is achieved from the water outlet end, and the connector can cut off water flow automatically in the adjusting process.
