Pharmaceutical Compositions for Glucocorticoid Replacement Therapy

The invention relates to glucocorticoid replacement therapy and provides pharmaceutical compositions and kits designed to deliver one or more glucocorticoids to a subject in need thereof in a manner that results in serum levels of the glucocorticoid that essentially mimic that of a healthy subject for a clinically relevant period of time. The pharmaceutical composition comprises one or more glucocorticoids, wherein a first part of one or more glucocorticoids is substantially immediately released and a second part of one or more glucocorticoids is released over an extended period of time of at least about 8 hours, and the amount of the one or more glucocorticoids of the first part, expressed as hydrocortisone equivalents, is in a range of from about 15 to about 50% of the total hydrocortisone equivalents. The invention also relates to a kit comprising a first and a second component, the first component designed to release one or more glucocorticoids substantially immediately and the second component is designed to release one or more glucocorticoids over an extended period of time of at least 8 hours. The invention also relates to a method for treating diseases requiring glucocorticoid treatment such as in subjects having a glucocorticoid deficiency disorder. In another aspect the invention relates to the use of a first and a second amount of one or more glucocorticoids for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition or kit for the treatment of a glucocorticoid deficiency disorder.

The invention discloses a liquid-solid contact electrification friction nano-generator, which comprises a high-molecular material layer, an electrode layer and a reference electrode, wherein the high-molecular material layer and the electrode layer constitute a power generation unit, and the power generation unit and the reference electrode respectively constitute two poles of the liquid-solid contact electrification friction nano-generator; both sides of the electrode layer are covered with the high-molecular material layer; the electrode layer is sealed in the high-molecular material layer on both sides; the electrode layer and the reference electrode constitute an electrode pair through a wire and electric equipment; and both the reference electrode and the power generation unit are partially placed in the liquid. The high-molecular material layer sufficiently wraps the electrode layer, thereby not only being capable of enlarging the liquid-solid contact area, but also being capableof shielding the inductive charge of the liquid around the electrode layer to the electrode layer, enabling the charge generated by the contact between the liquid and the material to be sufficientlytransferred, and forming current in an external circuit. Compared with the prior art, the generating capacity of the liquid-solid contact electrification friction nano-generator is improved by 8.3 times, thereby solving the technical requirement of long-term energy supply for ocean sensors.

The invention relates to a quality control method of fresh fleece flower root and prepared fleece flower root which comprises the steps as follows: A. standard crude drug powder of fresh fleece flower root or prepared fleece flower root is weighed and dissolved in acetone; the solution undergoes ultrasonic treatment and is then filtered, brought to constant volume and evaporated to dry; obtained dry powder is dissolved in methyl alcohol and the methyl alcohol solution is filtered by Millipore, thereby obtaining standard crude drug solution; fingerprint spectrum of the standard crude drug is then worked out by high performance liquid chromatography; the same method is then employed to establish fingerprint spectrum awaiting measurement of fresh fleece flower root or prepared fleece flower root to be measured; similarity between the fingerprint spectrum awaiting measurement and the standard fingerprint spectrum are then used for deciding whether the crude drug to be measured is qualified. B. contents of two index components, including 2, 3, 4', 5-tetrahydroxystilbene-2-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and rheum emodin, are measured by high performance liquid chromatography. The quality control method has various judging evidences, thereby not only realizing qualitative detection of major chemical compositions of fresh and prepared fleece flower root, but also measuring contents of the two major components. The quality control method has reliable and precise measurement result, thereby reducing possibility of quality pass rate affected by manual treatment.

The invention relates to a core column structure for improving a magnetic focusing force at a central area of a superconducting cyclotron. The core column structure comprises a core column body (4). The core column body (4) is divided into an upper part and a lower part. The lower part has a cylindrical structure. The upper part has a structure in which a plurality of magnetic pole valley areas (5) and a plurality of magnetic pole peak areas (1) are arranged alternatively. The magnet ring of the azimuth of each magnetic pole valley area (5) is step-shaped. Two side edges on the head surface of each magnetic pole peak area (1) are provided with chamfered corners (6). The core column structure for improving a magnetic focusing force at the central area of the superconducting cyclotron has advantages of improving the axial magnetic focusing force at the central area of the superconducting cyclotron, reducing particle acceleration high-frequency phase slippage at the central area, effectively reducing beam loss at the central area, improving acceptance degree of the beam at the central area, and improving strength of the beam which is introduced from an accelerator. The invention relates to a complex inoculant and an application thereof in degrading cellulose in poultry and livestock manure. The complex inoculant consists of a bacterium strain which is cultivated in a beef extract-peptone medium and a fungus strain which is cultivated in a PDA culture medium at the volume ratio of a culture solution of 1:1. According to the complex inoculant provided by the invention, optimum enzyme-production temperatures of the various strains correspond to temperatures in different stages of composting fermentation, and changing curves of the two parts (the optimum enzyme-production temperatures of the various trains and the temperatures in different stages of the composting fermentation) fit and are matched; the various strains grow in a coordinated mode and continuously produce enzyme, so that a relatively stable cellulase producing environment is formed, and stable enzyme activity is guaranteed; the enzyme can be continuously produced in different fermentation temperature stages of a composting process, so that decomposition of the cellulose in the poultry and livestock manure is promoted; and since a reaction substrate is continuously utilized by the various strains, a level and a peak of cellulase activity of composting fermentation of the poultry and livestock manure cellulase can be also improved in advance and the fermentation time of a compost can be shortened, so that adaptability and a decomposing effect of the compost are enhanced.

The electronic device further comprises a temperature varying means (RES) being thermally coupled to the tunable capacitor for providing a temperature of the dielectric (FEL) causing a predetermined capacitance of the tunable capacitor (CST). The invention, which relies on the idea of varying temperature to vary a capacitance of a capacitor stack, provides an alternative tunable capacitor type for the known types. Advantageous embodiments feature high-tuning ratio, small device area, and stable capacitance value in case the temperature is well controlled. The invention further relates to a semiconductor device comprising the electronic device in accordance with the invention, to an electronic circuit comprising such electronic device, and to a method of manufacturing such electronic device.

By the method, during measuring of the bone tissue microstructure MSS by utilizing ultrasound back scattering technology, ultrasound resolution ratio is increased, and influence, of sound attenuation, on measuring results is reduced. The coding-enhanced focused ultrasound bone tissue microstructure detection method is applied to the field of biomedical detection and tissue characterization.

High-reliability high-voltage high-current electromechanical servo driver

Disclosed is a high-reliability high-voltage high-current electromechanical servo driver. A peak voltage generated between a collector electrode and an emitting electrode in a turn-off process of an IGBT can be effectively suppressed; meanwhile, a peak value of a fluctuation voltage caused by overhigh bus inductance after the peak voltage also can be suppressed, thereby ensuring the high reliability of the electromechanical servo driver, wherein after an IGBT driving circuit receives a low-level input, the IGBT driving circuit outputs a certain intermediate voltage between plus 14.5V and plus 7V for a certain while instead of directly outputting a minus 8V level to turn off, for example, the IGBT driving circuit outputs plus 9V and then outputs minus 8V to turn off. Due to the fact that current of the collector electrode of the IGBT is in direct proportion to the turn-on voltage of a gate pole, the plus 9V door pole level limits the current of the collector electrode of the IGBT to be a relatively low value; and therefore, when the driving circuit outputs minus 8V to turn off the IGBT consequently, the generated current change rate is not too high, namely, the suppression to the peak voltage is realized, and the safety of the IGBT is protected.
