A flexible seal for use in a solid oxide fuel cell stack is formed from a fibre matrix with a plurality of solid particles through tape casting method. The fibres and particles are preferably ceramic and may be formed from alumina or zirconia. The seal may be formed by forming a slurry of fibres, particles, a binder and a non-aqueous solvent, tape casting the slurry, drying the tape seal, die-cutting, prior to installation in the fuel cell stack.

It is intended that the rotation resistance is decreased while the durability and seal performance are kept in the rolling bearing unit with seal ring.

The sealant layer contains a dispersed material therein and the sealing surface portion of the developer container contains a dispersed material, which is mutually soluble with the dispersed material in the sealant layer. The dispersed material in the sealant layer preferably includes a thermoplastic elastomer. A unitary sleeve lip seal can be used to provide permanently lubricated sealed bearings in severe service conditions such as the track pins of track-driven vehicles and agricultural equipment. The seal has a labyrinthine exclusion path and multiple dust lips contacting the sleeve in addition to the main sealing lip. A garter spring encircling the main sealing lip may enable the seal to operate at moderately elevated pressures. The sleeve has a radial flange at the outermost end. Elastomeric lips extend between the sleeve flange and a faceplate that terminates the outside end of the seal housing. The seal is packed with water-resistant grease and can, when installed in association with grease-packed bearings can create a permanently lubricated bearing/shaft assembly that requires no re-greasing. Resilient coatings both protect the sleeve and case and also improve leak resistance, especially when the seal is retrofitted onto shafts that have been damaged. The design provides a seal having performance that is comparable to that of dual cone face seals at a much lower cost and in a much smaller assembly. Seals made according to this design can easily be made in standard sizes that can serve as direct replacements for previously available seals.

A bearing roller chain having a seal mechanism preventing entry of foreign substance from the outside, and leaking of lubricating oil leakage to the outside and the like, thereby improving wear resistance of the bearing roller and reducing both the likelihood of rotation failure and the traveling resistance of the chain. The seal mechanism is provided between an inner link plate of the chain and the hollow bearing roller, which has a plurality of internal anti-friction rollers rotatable between the hollow bearing roller and a bush mounted between opposed inner link plates. The seal mechanism encloses the internal anti-friction rollers and comprises two parts, i.e a seal ring having an annular lip portion, which comes into close contact with an outer side surface of the bearing roller and an annular metallic seal member. The metallic seal member forms a labyrinth structure by providing a flange on an outer circumferential portion which loosely enters an annular concave groove in the outer side surface of the bearing roller. The seal mechanism provides a double sealing effect by virtue of the seal ring and the annular metallic seal member.

Provided is a molding packaging material that can have an increased use life, can suppress a decrease over time in inter-layer lamination strength, and can have superior molding properties in extrusion molding, draw forming, and the like. The laminate molding packaging material contains: an outside substrate layer (2) comprising a heat resistant resin; an inside sealant layer (3) comprising a thermoplastic resin; and a metal foil provided between the two layers as a barrier layer (4). The molding packaging material of the present invention includes a heat resistant resin layer 2 as an outer layer, a polypropylene layer 3 as an inner layer, a metal foil layer 5 arranged between the heat resistant resin layer and the polypropylene layer, wherein at least an inner side surface of the metal foil layer 4 is subjected to a chemical conversion treatment, and the polypropylene layer 3 is laminated on the chemical conversion treatment surface of the metal foil layer via an adhesive layer 5, wherein the adhesive layer 5 is formed by applying an adhesive to the chemical conversion treatment surface of the inner side surface of the metal foil layer 4, the adhesive containing at least an organic solvent, a polyolefin resin having a carboxyl group in which the organic solvent is dissolved and an MFR measured at 130° C. is 5 g/10 min to 42 g/10 min, and a multifunctional isocyanate compound.

A fluid-filled type vibration damping device including: a primary fluid chamber partially constituted by a main rubber elastic body connecting a first and second mounting member; an equilibrium chamber partially constituted by a flexible film; a partition member supported by the second mounting member; and a partition rubber film is superimposed against the partition member and secured interlocking with an annular interlocking projection projecting from the partition member. A first seal rubber is compressed between the interlocking projection and the tubular fitting member and extending about the entire circumference, thereby forming a working air chamber therebetween. The present invention provides a metal gasket to be fitted between a cylinder head and a cylinder block to seal a gap between the surfaces thereof, which comprises: a thin metal plate with an opening formed at a position corresponding to a bore portion of the cylinder block, the opening having a diameter larger than that of the bore portion; and a pair of elastic metal substrates each having: an opening which substantially agrees with the bore portion of the cylinder block; an annular convex portion formed concentrically with the opening at a position apart from an edge portion of the opening by a specified distance; and an annular holding portion for holding a peripheral portion of the opening of the thin metal plate, horizontally extending out from an outer edge portion of the convex portion, wherein the pair of the elastic metal substrates are disposed so that top portions of the respective convex portions face each other and that the holding portions overlap with the thin metal plate, and engaged to the thin metal plate at a plurality of positions.
