The invention relates to a piecewise linear
compression method of real-
time compression of waveform data. For given data, a maximum permissible error, a maximum interval length and a
record limiting value are designated, data partition is conducted, denoising and compression judgment is conducted on the data, high-fidelity real-
time compression of the waveform data is achieved, and
data compression ratios of different levels can be achieved by adjusting the error rule, the maximum interval length limit and the
record limiting value of a corresponding variable in the
compression method. The piecewise linear
compression method has the advantages that the compressed data can meet the requirement for real-time
wireless transmission, convenience is brought to mining analysis and storage of
big data, the characteristics that the
compression ratio is high, reservation of waveform characteristics is good, calculation is simple, execution speed is high, and
noise data are adjusted and optimized are achieved and have practical significance in real-time transmission, compression and storage of the waveform data, and under the condition that the waveform characteristics are guaranteed, high-fidelity real-
time compression can be conducted on the waveform data quickly in a high-compression-ratio mode by adjusting
algorithm parameters.
