Prallethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide. Prallethrin 1.6% w/w liquid vaporizer is a repellent insecticide which is generally used for the control of mosquitoes in the household. It is marketed as a mosquito repellent by Godrej as "GoodKnight Silver Power" and SC Johnson as "All Out" in India. It is also the primary insecticide in certain products for killing wasps and hornets, including their nests. It is the main ingredient in the consumer product "Hot Shot Ant & Roach Plus Germ Killer" spray.

Electrothermal mosquito-repellent liquid and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses an electrothermal mosquito-repellent liquid. The electrothermal mosquito-repellent liquid comprises culicifuge medicine liquid and an evaporator core. The culicifuge medicine liquid comprises: 0.2 to 2 parts by weight of chlorine fluorine etofenprox as an effective component, 1 to 10 parts by weight of a stabilizing agent, 2 to 20 parts by weight of evaporation regulators and 67 to 96 parts by weight of an organic solvent. A preparation method of the electrothermal mosquito-repellent liquid comprises the following steps that: the organic solvent, the evaporation regulators, the chlorine fluorine etofenprox as an effective component, the stabilizing agent and an assistant are added into a stirred tank with stirring according to the weight part proportion; after being mixed uniformly, the mixture obtained the previous step is filtered and then is canned; and the evaporator core with a plunger is inserted into a can with the mixture. The present electrothermal mosquito-repellent liquid is superior to allethrin mosquito-repellent liquid and similar to tetrafluoro methothrin in mosquito repellent effects, and has usage amounts of effective component and organic solvent thus has a low production cost and a small impact on the environment.

The invention discloses a trap-killing method for megachile rotundata fabricius parasitic wasps. The method comprises the steps that 1, megachile rotundata fabricius bee hatching plates are placed inphytotron, water trays are arranged below the bee hatching plates, black light lamps are installed between the bee hatching plates and the water trays, the black light lamps are 10 cm away from the water trays, and water in the water trays is replaced regularly; 2, a 1.5% prallethrin attractant device which is screened out is installed in the phytotron, wherein the dosage is 3.25 ml/d/10 m<2>; 3,on the second day when megachile rotundata fabricius bee cocoons are put in the phytotron, the black light lamps and attractant volatilization device are started, observation is conducted regularly every day, the number of the parasitic wasps in the water trays and the bee hatching plates is counted separately, when observing parasitic wasps without eclosion in two days, the black light lamps areturned off, and the attractant device is removed. Accordingly, the trap-killing effect on the parasitic wasps can reach about 95%, the method is safe to megachile rotundata fabricius bee cocoons, andnormal eclosion of megachile rotundata fabricius is not affected.
