Fan cartridge assembly

A fan cartridge assembly includes a cartridge, a first fan and a second fan. The cartridge has a first round hole and a second round hole for receiving the first fan and the second fan. The cartridge has an air duct, one end of which is connected to the first round hole. A back plate is mounted to one end of the cartridge and has air vents connected to the other end of the air duct for exhausting air. When assembled in a computer case, the second fan drafts air blowing to interface cards and power chips in the computer to cool them down and the first fan expels the heated air from the inside of the computer case to the outside. This allows the operation of the computer to keep in a normal working status.

Vehicle cooling package

A vehicle cooling package has a fan shroud mounted to a heat exchanger assembly. A diverter plate is mounted adjacent to the shroud and spaced therefrom with a fan interposed therebetween. A diverting surface of the shroud and the diverter plate are angled from the axis of the fan when the shroud and plate are assembled to the vehicle. A vehicle hood has upper and side surfaces each having air discharge apertures corresponding with the space between the diverting surface and the diverter plate when the hood is closed. The diverting surface and the diverter plate both extend fully to the hood assembly when the hood is closed. The angles of the diverting surface and the diverter plate closely match a natural discharge angle of the fan, so that air is discharged from the fan at a high velocity from under the hood through the air discharge apertures.

Method for driving fuel injection pump

The present invention achieves an increase in the amount of vapor that is expelled, stabilized fuel injection and improved starting characteristics in a fuel injection pump. In an electromagnetically driven fuel injection pump 20 which allows fuel to escape into the return passage 5 in the initial region of the pressure-feeding stroke of the plunger 21, and which pressure-feeds fuel into the injection port 33 in the later region of the pressure-feeding stroke, pulse powering of the coil 23 that does not lead to the injection of fuel, i.e., pulse powering which is such that the plunger 21 performs a reciprocating motion through the initial region, is performed when the engine 2 is in an idle operating state, or in a state in which the engine 2 is re-started after being stopped immediately following high-load operation. As a result, vapor can be expelled with good efficiency, and the flow rate of the circulated fuel is increased so that the cooling effect is also increased, thus causing the generation of vapor to be suppressed as well, so that the starting characteristics or re-starting characteristics are improved.

Inkjet-Recording-Head Flushing Method

A method of flushing a nozzle of an inkjet recording head so as to recover an ink-ejection performance of the nozzle. The nozzle ejects, in a recording mode of the inkjet recording head, a plurality of droplets of an ink to record dot images, such that each of the droplets has an arbitrary one of a plurality of volumes. The flushing method includes causing the inkjet recording head to perform, for a first time, a plurality of continuous flushing actions in each of which the nozzle attempts to eject a droplet of the ink whose volume is larger than a smallest volume of the plurality of volumes, and causing the inkjet recording head to repeat, at least one more time, the plurality of continuous flushing actions while interposing a pause time between each pair of consecutive times out of the first time and said at least one more time.

Dispensing channel pump

A hand operated fluid dispenser comprised of a sealed flexible reservoir chamber containing a fluid, a channel capable of blockage by finger pressure applied to a specific position, a flexible pump chamber drawing fluid from the reservoir via this channel, and a pump cycled by external finger pressure applied to a layered array of the channel and pump chamber. This class of simple, inexpensive, disposable dispensers is particularly useful in packaging cosmetics, foodstuffs, and healthcare products. As pocketable dispensers they are popular for conveniently dispensing small amounts of stored viscous liquids easily damaged when exposure to the atmosphere, a condition where sealed reservoirs coupled with airless pumps work together successfully preventing product contamination, deterioration and loss.

Extended nip press for the leather industry

An extended nip press machine, similar to those used in the paper industry, for use in the leather industry to remove water from hides after the tanning process. The leather press consists of a shoe whose surface substantially matches the radius of an opposing pressure roll. Moving across the shoe is an endless belt, which is lubricated by a thin film of oil. Between the belt and corresponding pressure roll pass two endless felt belts, which are the means of conveying the leather hides. The nip formed by the shoe press is dramatically longer than a conventional press nip, thereby increasing the dewatering efficiency of the leather press.
