The invention provides a lightweight Android OTA upgrading
system and method based
on board card autonomy, belongs to the technical field of embedded device
firmware air upgrading, and is particularly suitable for an
Android device upgrading scene managed by a BMC (
Baseboard Management Controller). The
system comprises a BMC side dual-
mode control module, a board card side active autonomous engine and a dual-mode compatible result feedback channel. The BMC side actively detects the own resource state, and can automatically or manually switch a BMC centralized
driving mode and a board card autonomous mode; the board card side can autonomously complete OTA packet legality
verification, block decompression, command reconstruction, environment cleaning and
upgrade execution; and the feedback channel pushes the synchronous upgrading state in a unified format through the return value, the
system attribute and the progress. According to the method, the problems of overload of BMC resources, lengthy operation links and low reliability in a traditional scheme are solved, and the
resource utilization rationality, upgrading efficiency and reliability are improved.
