biomass-based
polyol at 60-90 DEG C to prepare the
biomass-based
fatty aldehyde tanning agent. The structure of the obtained
aldehyde tanning agent contains hydroxyl and
aldehyde group active groups, the
aldehyde tanning agent and leather collagen can form stable covalent bonds, biomass-based
fatty aldehyde tanning agents with different molecular sizes and reaction activities can be formed by controlling
aldol condensation reaction between the tanning agents, effective regulation and control of
permeation and combination of the biomass-based fatty aldehyde tanning agents in leather are achieved, and the tanning agent has the advantages of being simple in preparation process, low in cost and high in efficiency. Therefore, the damp-heat-resistant stability and the physical sensory performance of the leather are improved.
