Apparatus for detecting the breaking of a contact-sensitive surface includes an acoustic, shock, and vibration transducer, a detector circuit responsive to the transducer for detecting an acoustic wave resulting from a contact force applied to the surface and generating a signal, a support for the transducer, and the means for disqualifying a contact force to the support as a breakage event that relies on differentiation of the speed with which a shock wave travels through a solid material versus the speed with which an acoustic wave travels through air. The transducer may include a front electret condenser microphone and in some preferred embodiments the microphone does not have a preamplifier associated therewith. The invention relates to an online oil filtering device with an intelligent frequency conversion function for a main transformer load switch and a method. The device comprises an oil pump driven by using a variable-frequency motor, and a particle density detector for detecting transformer oil in an oil storage bucket, wherein the oil inlet of the oil pump is connected with an oil inlet pipe which goes deep into the oil storage bucket; the oil inlet pipe is provided with an oil inlet valve; the oil outlet of the oil pump is connected with an oil outlet pipe leading to the oil storage bucket; the oil outlet pipe is provided with an oil outlet valve, a filtering tank and an electric contact pressure gauge; the electric contact pressure gauge is connected to the variable-frequency motor and a pressure alarm; a frequency converter of the variable-frequency motor and the particle density detector are electrically connected to a control module. By adopting the online oil filtering device, the rotating speed and running time of the oil pump of the load switch online oil filtering device can be lowered and shortened greatly, the working efficiency is increased, and the maintenance workload is lowered. In particular, the times of power failures caused by overhauling of failure of the load switch online oil filtering device in the main transformer can be reduced greatly.
