A gas cylinder dispensing valve having an internal flow path provided with a pressure regulator. A biased isolation valve is provided within the flow path between the pressure regulator and a gas inlet of the valve and a flow control valve is provided within the flow path between the pressure regulator and a gas outlet to discharge the gas. Both isolation valve and the flow control valve can be manipulated by a single control knob which when set in an off position closes the isolation valve. The control knob can be rotated from the off position to select discrete, calibrated flow rates or an auxiliary position in which gas may be dispensed at a regulated pressure from an auxiliary outlet port.

Method for hydrogen and electricity production using steam-iron process and solid oxide fuel cells

A method and a system for the co-production of electricity and hydrogen fuel are provided. The system may include a fuel conditioning unit, two or more iron / iron oxide beds and a high temperature electrochemical generator. In one embodiment, a reduction bed contains iron oxides. A hydrocarbon fuel, such as natural gas, is conditioned to carbon dioxide and hydrogen by the reduction bed. The conditioned fuel is then converted electrochemically to generate electricity in a fuel cell. Operating simultaneously is an oxidation bed that oxidizes elemental iron to iron oxides and produces hydrogen. The oxidation bed may previously have served as the reduction bed. The hydrogen thus produced is sufficiently pure to be used in a refueling application. The heat necessary for the endothermic reduction may be provided by the high temperature electrochemical generator. The two beds may operate concurrently or sequentially, and alternate their roles when their reactants are partially exhausted.

Each measuring cup has a lobed sidewall defining a plurality of lobes of an epicycloidal configuration. The flow of air prevents suction between the cups. The epicycloidal configuration defines a plurality of longitudinally raised portions that are adapted to stop an axial inward movement of the next smaller cup and hold next smaller cup in position. The epicycloidal configuration of the sidewall defines a plurality of channels that form a plurality of spouts within the container portion to permit drip-free pouring. The channels facilitate minimum inter-surface contact between the cups to prevent sticking of their surfaces.

A vehicle controller receives fluid pressure signals from these sensor(s), and calculates an actual downforce value from these signal(s). The controller retrieves a calibrated downforce value from mapped vehicle downforce data stored in memory, and determines if the actual downforce value differs from the calibrated value. If so, the controller determines a target position for a target downforce value for a current vehicle operating condition, and commands the actuator(s) to move the active aero device to the target position.
