41 results about "Fowl typhoid" patented technology

The incidence of fowl typhoid is low in the USA, Canada, and some European countries but is much higher in other countries. Although S Gallinarum is egg-transmitted and produces lesions in chicks and poults similar to those produced by S Pullorum, there is a much greater tendency to spread among growing or mature flocks.

The invention discloses an inert carrier indirect agglutination test detection system and application thereof. The system comprises inert carrier bacteria S9 and a complex S9-P which is shown and expressed on the surface of the inert carrier bacteria S9 and carries a P-antibody factor. The system only carries the P-antibody factor, is single in component and specific in targeting, generates macroscopic positive particle agglutination reaction with whole blood or serum of chicken infected by pullorum disease and salmonella typhimurium under a certain concentration condition, and does not generate non-specific cross agglutination reaction with chicken-derived serum and whole blood of different backgrounds infected by non-pullorum disease and salmonella typhimurium. The S9-P is based on a glass plate agglutination reaction operation platform. The S9-P is simple and convenient to operate, sensitive and rapid in reaction, macroscopic in agglutination reaction particles and clear and easy inresult judgment, tests and result judgment are completed within two minutes, and the S9-P is suitable for targeted specific detection of pullorum disease and salmonella gallinarum infection in chicken flocks and has a good application prospect in on-site monitoring and diagnosis of the chicken flocks.

Salmonella bacteriophage CKT1 without transduction of drug-resistant gene and application of salmonella bacteriophage CKT1

The invention discloses a salmonella bacteriophage CKT1 without transduction of drug-resistant gene and application of the salmonella bacteriophage CKT1, the virulent bacteriophage CKT1 is preserved in China Center for Type Culture Collection on January 21, 2022, and the preservation number of the virulent bacteriophage CKT1 is CCTCC (China Center for Type Culture Collection) 2022110. The separated salmonella bacteriophage CKT1 has splitting activity on D-group salmonella such as salmonella pullorum, salmonella gallinarum and salmonella enteritidis from different sources, is short in incubation period, high in progeny bacteriophage outbreak amount and low in bacteriophage mutation resistance rate, does not carry virulence genes and drug-resistant genes on a genome, does not have transduction capability, and can be used for preparing the salmonella bacteriophage CKT1. The bacteriophage does not cause transmission of drug-resistant genes, is a safe, efficient and high-specificity virulent bacteriophage, and does not destroy intestinal flora of chicks. The bacteriophage preparation can become a novel environment-friendly auxiliary means for purifying salmonella pullorum in a breeding chicken farm, and is also an alternative strategy for preventing and treating salmonella pullorum or salmonella gallinarum infection of chicken flocks.
