This invention discloses a local
nitrogen purging and anti-
frost system and method for the windward side duct of an environmental
test chamber evaporator. The
system includes a
nitrogen source, a pressure reducing and flow control
assembly, an injection pipeline and
injection port, a local dehumidification
branch, a sensor group, and a controller. The
injection port is located upstream of the mixing section of the windward side duct of the
evaporator, and the exhaust port is located in the
evaporator section or its downstream duct section, forming a directional local dehumidification channel within the duct. The control method uses
dew point temperature and evaporator
pressure difference as core criteria, employing a composite judgment logic combining trend and time window to execute a phased control strategy. A pre-purging dehumidification stage is triggered at the initial stage of door opening and cooling or during the transition from
damp heat to cooling. A low-temperature
maintenance stage is entered when the low-temperature section crosses a preset high-risk temperature zone or when abnormal trends in
pressure difference or
dew point are detected. This invention limits
nitrogen purging to a localized area on the windward side of the evaporator, resulting in minimal temperature disturbance, low
gas consumption, and effective suppression of
frost blockage, maintaining the evaporator's heat exchange efficiency.
